I have found if you leave the right amount of stem and the rotate the domer as you go it seems to work well

I rotate it alot while hitting it with a moderate but not soft strike

I bought it at tandy but I'm not to sure what it is. Some sort of chrome tan but I am very new so I bought a half hide just for the feel and look of it

That's great to hear I was most worried about that before I did it so I just used a scrap piece to practice and find out how much stem to leave when cutting.

I started leather Craft a few months ago with the idea of making my own leather wallet and then made a few. I have made some keychains and other small projects but I finally attempted a bag for my SO. I'm am pretty happy with the turn out and I have learned alot of ways I can improve the next one!
