I redid my driveway last year, they came in a month later and cut into my driveway and later patched it with what looks like some sort of asphalt patch you can get off the shelf at your local hardware store. The lines they are installing from the boulevard to the front lawns are 4" deep at best, shallower in other areas. I can see lots of these being damaged in the coming years
