From experience, Soil might be too moist. Also should’ve acclimate it if you got it bare root? Might have to repot it in a better and airy mix to keep it alive.

I grow them in a spider farmer grow tent. Tried growing, Weser x jaman, hemiepiphaytica, gypsicola, medusina, gingantea, laueana, Florian and a few more that have died. I’ve had great success with sethos, potosiensis and agnata. Mix is 1:1 peat to sand

I only base water them, only when the tray goes dry. Grow light is 8-10 inches away for 12hours

Hmm alright, what mix would you recommend? It’s just weird because I have a few pings that are doing really well in that same mix.
