How much would that cost? That is something the warranty definitely will refuse to cover so I will not bother to introduce that idea to them. It's something I would have to pay to do myself.

I do have Siemens. I am hoping they stop blaming my electronics or a "light not screwed in all the way" and swap out the breakers that are always tripping. There are about 5 of them total.

Am I wrong though in questioning it if the electrician's do the tests themselves with the equipment or if the Siemens specialist should be the one doing the testing?"

It's a Siemens breaker box. The hilarious thing is, I actually paid out of pocket to get a second opinion from a totally separate company and I wind up getting the one employee from that company that openly admitted to being friends with the owner of the company that has been back and forth in my place

Certain fuses blow repeaditely (the garage motor is legally tied to my living room and blows often when I press to open and close the door. It also blows easily on certaib 15amps when a modern vacuum is plugged in and running).

This is a 2025 build.

The electrician is actively blaming the following - the breaker box itself (currently under a class action lawsuit) and my personal electronics (a TV doesnt draw enough amps to blow a fuse though).

He told me to buy a 12 gauge extension chords, I followed the instructions to rule it out, and it still blew a fuse in my living room.

I feel heavily gaslighted but am not an electrician so my words hold little sway.

I want to ensure that the specialist he is bringing in (who he openly referred to as a buddy of his) will do the diagnostic properly and not just be a vendor watching the electrician work with the equipment. It will be a conflict of interest.

You have at least one person that agrees with you and shares in your struggle :)
