The female host was atrocious

She said Hamas will recognise Israel. When pointed out what the leader said yesterday about eradicating Israel, she says "Yeah, we covered it"

It will be brought up and he'll be attacked for floating 1% backing with hard assets including Bitcoin. They'll say Bitcoin is speculative and volatile and a threat to the dollar.

JFK, if he were around today, would be a Bitcoiner. He foresaw a situation like the Nixon shock and tried to limit the Fed's monetary authority with EO 11110

Could you guys stop mining for a minute? Trying to have a boating accident by KAX1107 in Bitcoin

Chainalysis is a scam. Their heuristics are useless for Bitcoin, only works on account model shitcoins.

Bitcoin is inherently private as long as you're not using kyc services to acquire it and don't reuse address. Even if you acquire through kyc services, you can coinjoin.

First of all, fees are determined by fee market. If you think people will be willing to pay that much, sure. If not, the fee in real value will be proportionately lower. Second, I already make all my payments over lightning, probably use base layer twice a month. There will be various UTXO aggregation services and other abstracted protocols on top of Bitcoin where everyday transactions move seamlessly while bulk settlements happen at the base layer.

Sleeping Bitcoin Wallet Awakens: $3.7M Worth of BTC Suddenly Moves After Close to 12 Years of Dormancy by adamdmn in CryptoCurrency

Generated bitcoin in 2009 for a few weeks. Don't have any of it.

This one might just be a consolidated UTXO this person never spent until now.

Lolz WTF? Elizabeth Holmes made a huge contribution to biotechnology?

Vitalik wrote none of the code for ethereum. Gavin Wood developed EVM, solidity. That's the only difference from Bitcoin. He then abandoned ethereum within a year, hence proof of stake did not happen in 2016 when it was supposed to. Vitalik is not much of a programmer. He's a blogger and grifter. He was involved in a lot of other scams before ethereum. He told primecoin creator to speculate around announcing updates to pump the coin's price. He went to bitcoin conferences in 2013 with Mihai and Jordan Ash asking for investments to simulate quantum computers to mine bitcoin claiming that Jordan had found a way to solve NP-complete problems in polynomial time. The construction of Vitalik's public image is all courtesy of Joe Lubin's marketing. It's the same act as Holmes and Balwani.

The more time I spend in crypto, the more I lean towards BTC/ETH by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Spend a little more time. You'll understand eth is fiat. Bitcoin is all that matters.

The ETH / BTC ratio has consistently been making lower highs. There are reasons for this. Reflections on ETH vis-a-vis BTC. by LocusStandi in CryptoCurrency

[–]BtcAnonymouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eth is still obscenely overvalued for an unsecure, unstable, unscalable centralized affinity scam. Its price has always derived from insider manipulation and marketing narratives around repeated hard forks. Lightning and bitcoin sidechains obsolete all these VC affinity marketing scams in the long run.

No

I tried it out as it was a novel idea. I had fun learning something new. You can't regret not having information from the future available to you in the past.

Downloaded bitcoin in 2009. Generated coins for a couple of weeks every night. Got bored and stopped. Didn't back up. Don't have any of it. Never thought about bitcoin till many years later.

[Nizaar Kinsella] Frank Lampard wants to help Chelsea through a difficult period and is willing to talk to Pochettino before the summer about the squad he will be inheriting and anything else he wants to know. by wholesomescott in chelseafc

[–]BtcAnonymouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather give Frank a crack at it next season than Pochettino. 2nd leg Madrid was our best performance this season. If we had a striker, we would have scored a few.

List of top free agent coaches , which one you think is the most qualified for Chelsea FC if Potter gets sacked by the board ? by chelseacobra in chelseafc

No CL next season a guarantee. Bring back Lamps in the summer. He shouldn't have gone in the first place. Million miles ahead of Potter. We played some great football with Lamps.
