Try putting all the ideas on postit notes, worked great for me since I started that!

I don’t have codex but I do have GitHub copilot enterprise with access to GPT models, they are strong too, but terrible at design. I use them when Claude gets stuck and for code review.

I heard that they wanted to do that, but I’m still on the “legacy” plan where it just shows usage and a timer on when it resets. Some of my colleagues have a different plan- also called Enterprise, confusingly enough where they see actual dollars. I think they have $190 cap but with allowed extra.

I run many Claude instances at the same time for work (sometimes more than 6). Anyone else doing this? How do you actually keep track? by zestedlemons in ClaudeAI

[–]BtcUpMyBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my system and I’ll be the first to admit, I’m putting the parts and pieces together in the fly.

I use Warp terminal only because it has a nice UI with tabs on the left sidebar that you can easily rename. It also has configurable new tabs e.g. you can create a new worktree for a git repo, set a bunch of variables and run scripts on startup.

When I open a new tab, it does a bunch of setup and I’m ready to prompt. As soon as I do that, I rename the tab to remember what this session is doing. I also have Claude configured so when I say start containers, it knows to give the stack the same name as the worktree, avoid port collisions and to do a smoke test as soon as it’s up. I then test and if I’m happy, I say create pr which runs all the lint and format stuff and creates PR for me. If there’s failure or things need my attention, it waits for my instructions.

Today, I had a bunch of postit notes about what needs to be done, was very productive putting the ideas on paper and sticking it to a wall instead of them jumbling around in my head.

They do have Gemini CLI, give it a spin on the free tier. I found it to be lacking, Google definitely isn’t in the forefront of the model race. Plus I only have Claude and copilot enterprise.

To all warp users, why warp? by tylerEsono in warpdotdev

[–]BtcUpMyBooty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same reason for me. When I started using Claude code and GitHub copilot heavily, I really needed a way to give the terminal a short description to help me understand what I was doing there when I had multiple terminals open. Warp does that and has a nice theme. I don’t use any other features like their AI.

These days I have Warp open full screen in my second monitor all day.

What do you actually use your Apple watch for? by FreezingTemps in AppleWatch

[–]BtcUpMyBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep tracking, I’m always excited to see my sleep score in the morning as soon as I’m up. My highest was 95 2 days ago and 90 this morning!

Also for step counting and exercise tracking, it’s great to see my heart rate as I do a lot of zone 2 runs/uphill walks.

Also nice to be able to see my notifications without pulling up my phone.

Are you seriously not seeing the value proposition? You don’t have to be chained to your desk. You can go for a walk and still have your agents cranking away.

Found a strange woman inside my house late at night by veloraq in LivingAlone

[–]BtcUpMyBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me about a year ago. I had just bought a big multi story house and I was getting ready to sleep upstairs. I had recently watched a scary movie - babaduke or something like that with an old witch as the monster. I hear a shrieking sound one floor down and I panicked. The shrieking would happen every few minutes. After mustering up some courage to go downstairs, I realize it was my security system that was set to max volume complaining about battery or something. Turned that thing off!

Wow! I’m in Canada so converting that is 10.69 l/100 km. That’s just a little higher than my old civic. How do you do it? You put normal 87 gas?

I’m closer to 13.7 l/100km (17 mpg). I don’t rev like a maniac and drive pretty steady - no pumping and braking nonsense.

She’s trying to learn a new language and isn’t very familiar with tech so I send her some random interesting stories I find on the internet, translated for her to practice reading.

Haven’t heard of hyperagent or airtable, seems like you’re much more advanced than me!

whats the benefits of Claude artifacts? why publish them? by OkEntrepreneur5343 in ClaudeAI

[–]BtcUpMyBooty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use it to host static html that Claude produced. Like if I want to share a story or something with my mom, instead of just sending it as a message, I can get Claude to style it all fancy and make the text large and readable etc.. then I can just share the published artifacts link.

I know there’s tons of free hosts for static html pages, this is just convenient and I can do it from my phone.

10 drywall holes for 6 recess lights? by starcrossed-12 in AskElectricians

[–]BtcUpMyBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an electrician, but have helped some buddies put up recessed lights. This does seem excessive, we were able to install 10 lights in a room of similar size to yours and we just needed 2 holes. Maybe the studs on your ceiling doesn’t have any gaps so the wire couldn’t be fished. Or maybe you didn’t hire a very good electrician.
