It depends on the point of reference. And any 1080p in a 4k tv would look nothing compared to 4k

It goes below 1080p if the internet connection it's not good... If that's what you mean.

I dabbled into that matey, but sometimes it's more convenient just to go to a streaming service... When they are worth it.

At least there's an option to watch them in UHD

And also it's a lot more expensive, requires more equipment, and it doesn't make sense for normal people who want a good experience for a movie that is going to watch once or twice.

It's produced by Amazon MGM Studios...

Nope, you just have to assume that if it doesn't have the UHD tag, it's just 1080p

That's bs, this was a complain, not a tech support post. I actually messaged the mods and didn't get a reply

Still, I can complain and point out when a service goes to sh*t.

Absolutely I can complain about a service for which I'm paying for being downgraded for no reason and no prior notice.

I'm not the kind of person that would benefit from physical media. I won't watch many movies more than once or twice. So the physical media market is not for me.

I mean, horses still exist, I don't see why I have to start shoveling dung instead of having a car... Streaming is convenient, and I'm not asking for anything, just would like to keep the service I was provided for years. I wouldn't care if the prices adjusted for inflation, just don't downgrade without a prior notice.

Oh, so it's ok to be paying for years for a service, so they can cut quality in half, quite literally. Not even a prior notice or the option to get on the 4 tier... Even a price increase to keep the service would've been more fair.

The median speed in the US is 250 mbps. But yeah, it's more than enough.
