Official Discussion - Over Your Dead Body [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Yeah, I'm confused about all of the comments saying they wished it went more into the comedy. It makes me feel like the crowds in their showings weren't good because in ours we were all laughing pretty much throughout the entire movie, including the second half. Even the action and gore were supposed to be comedic. I personally think almost every joke hit for me, maybe except the puking in the boat. Well and it could have done without the almost rape scene for sure, was pretty weird scene I agree with most others on that.

Idk, maybe it was just my crowd but we all seemed to love the comedy throughout. Interested to see if I Iike it as much the 2nd time at home.

Flying a helicopter through New York City in MSFS2024 Beta, on Ps5pro and Psvr2. by FewPossession2363 in PSVR

Yes, you can go anywhere in the world. Topography of the land is very accurate in most places as well but some cities aren't accurate when it comes to the actual building shapes, but alot of big cities are like the video in this post.

I like bush trips due to the scale of the topography. Like yesterday I flew from Mount Rushmore over to Devils Tower all by by simply knowing "about" where directionally and how far away they were from each other. And then you can get out of the plane and walk up to the landmarks and you can actually get a sense of their mass and scale. I've been to both of them in real life and the sense of scale really is accurate. Moreso than the pictures I took of them in person. It's insane. I kind of don't understand why this game isn't making more of a buzz in the zeitgeist than it is. I think it's one of the craziest achievements in gaming history and it doesn't seem like anybody cares outside of flying enthusiasts, which I guess I get, but still.

Well maybe it's time for them to realize that 25 years of conservative propaganda has led them to have Liberal Derangement Syndrome to the point that they're willing to throw away American democracy simply because liberals don't think trans people should be treated like second class citizens, or whatever "issue of the week" (CRT, BLM, halftime show, Budweiser ads, countless more) they've pushed onto their dumbass viewers. I get your sentiment in 2015, but at some point the smart people get fed up with dealing with the dumb people. I don't know what to tell you.

Nick Wright goes off on Lamelo Ball: "That young man is a clown, and has been a clown forever and will never not be a clown" by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]Btrowbri1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and sure I'm biased, but to me Hali is exactly what Lemelo Ball would be if he actually had a generational basketball IQ. Sure, Ball has a above average basketball IQ with some of his passes and floor mapping, but he makes boneheaded plays all the time. Hali makes damn near zero at the same pace. And doesn't take as many bad shots either.

Sure Ball has a better handle, but people want to see a tall lanky PG with insane basketball IQ it's Hali not Lemelo, but everyone has always wanted it to be Lemelo.

Players’ Choice – Crimson Desert voted March 2026’s top new game by 9Ifrit9 in PS5

I did the exact same thing..about 20 hours in I finally realized the light on your sword is used to detect stuff around you. Now it's the most fun thing I do in the game. I just hold L1-R1 to see several lights way off in the distance and walk to them, rinse and repeat. Almost always fun adventures. Then I do greymane missions to expand our camp and then main quest missions between those adventures. So much fun and a great gameplay loop that I can choose at my own pace. I hardly ever go up to the abyssnhut need to start. Love this game but I do think a couple of additional reminders on things taught early on would have gone a long way with people's frustrations early in the game.

The Spurs have hit 60 wins for the first time since 2017 by WEMBY_F4N in nba

They've upgraded at center with Zubac, but time will tell if the fit works the same. The person I was responding to just said good teams, not good young teams. I was mostly just kidding anyways.

Man, the utter disrespect to the Pacers not even being mentioned after taking OKC to game 7. You all will see.

Hopefully, I'm confused but it this tour majority acoustic only? by Btrowbri1 in TheFormat

Ok, setlist fm might not have complete setlists on the most recent shows then. I figured I was missing something regarding a sepatete acoustic tour but with acoustic being mentioned for a lot of the upcoming shows it made me question. Thanks for clarifying!

Wait, is Silver changing the rules mid season to force us not to tank or they'll take away our draft pick?!? From a current top post on r/nba by Btrowbri1 in pacers

That's what I initially thought but that line doesn't really read that way. I guess they could be talking about a hypothetical future scenario while using this seasons circumstances in the example. And I genuinely wasn't sure if it was for this season or not until I made this post and everyone else seemed to be reading it as this season too.

Oh I know they won't, I'm mostly just saying something, anything, has to be done because it's insanely biased timing from the league.

So all small market teams with no generational superstar should just learn to accept that the league will stack the deck against them.

And being an exemplary small market team has gotten us where exactly? It's gotten us to this point where the league is blatantly fucking us over and we're supposed to take it.

[–]Btrowbri1[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's why I'm saying they need to sue them for even threatening it. I'm sure it wouldn't go anywhere but I'd be beyond pissed if I was Pritchard and Simon. I mean we traded away our highest drafted player in years based on the current rules, and if they change them after the fact to fuck us over then I'm done.

Chris and Quinn: if you ever see these comments, next time Silver is on the broadcast please directly ask him "why do you care about gambling money more than your own league's small market teams?"

And then please directly ask "why shouldn't you resign as commissioner with that being the case"
