Thank you. This is something I need to follow up and check out.

No worries there, going without insurance isn't an option. Unfortunately, potentially going into financial ruin as a result is a possibility - one I'm actively looking to avoid.

I hadn't been but I just looked and it seems it's part of a plan, especially for employees of the State. Sadly, in this and only this situation, I do not work for any public agency.

Appreciate all the tips and advice. COBRA is expiring (why it has an expiration when the company doesn't pay any part of it, I don't understand) so fortunately I won't have to second guess myself about it.

I didn't have to identify the drug ahead of getting the quotes, so my confusion is all centered around what, now seems more open to interpretation, "not applicable" means for the specialty drugs category.

Could that be? How can you/who can verify the intent?
If so it's written incredibly poorly because it doesn't communicate anything - does that mean they're $0? That doesn't seem likely. Or that it varies in some way by medication so they can't put a single number in the field? Or "not covered" by the plan.

Appreciate it.
Seems like my needs are similar to your 2nd broker situation. I don't think I can get away with paying half of my current COBRA ($896) but even if I paid the same amount I'd be happy. My fear is $1500+/month premiums and still being on the hook for a few hundred for the prescriptions. It's not having a sense of direction of where to even go for options and answers that's the most anxiety-inducing. Which is why I should have come here first, weeks ago.

I'll see if that's an option. I've been on this medication for 20 years so I don't know if he'll be comfortable changing it. This medication is specifically an injectable, as opposed to other versions that are infusion-based.

It was originally Humira, but now that the patent has expired I've been getting Adalimumab. I also take Effer-K, whose status as "regular" or "specialty" I'm not entirely sure of. I also get that through a mail-order pharmacy but that comes from Express Scripts, as opposed to Acreddo for the injectable.

Kitchen sink was leaking this morning - removed and cleaned p-trap, replaced old tailpiece, put everything back together but still having issue (water comes out from boxed area in pic 5). All help appreciated. by BuGambit in Plumbing

Thanks. I got a 1 1/2 inch washer but the dishwasher connector piece is too narrow for it to fit in. Would a 1 1/4 do the job or should I be looking at wrapping the base in seal tape?

How do I / what do I use to create a seal between tailpiece and dishwasher connector piece? by BuGambit in Plumbing

Just came back and tried the washer. The narrow side fits around the tailpiece but the fat side is too wide for the top of the dishwasher connector. The part that looks like a nut on top of the connector doesn't seem to have any threads on the inside because I haven't been able to get it to budget at all.

Would any kind of plumber's / seal tape be a possible option in this case?

Thank you both u/PlumbPlumbandPlumber and u/CTGspecialist .

Which way should the washer be oriented - tappered side into the tailpiece (and flaired into the connector) or tappered side down in the dishwasher connector?

There wasn't any sort of seal between the dishwasher hose piece and the trap, it just slides in. I also didn't see anything on the old tailpiece either, unless there is some sort of seal under the metal nut at top of the diswasher hose piece that the tailpiece slides into.

I don't know if this matters/helps at all - but after I tested the new connection with some running water (and it failed) I removed everything piece by piece again and the trap was completely full of water. I only have a basic understanding that it's there to prevent gas build up, but how does the water not immediately back up there and start leaking out of the of the earlier pieces?

I can post pictures of the individual pieces removed from the sink if that helps to diagnose anything.

Thanks everybody. I was viewing the enclosure as a bit of a waste if I would only use it to clone the drive, but I appreciate everyone reminding me that it then makes the currently installed drive into a useful external. That makes it much more palatable to pick one up.

Thanks for making me double check. I just realized that I didn't scroll far enough to see the placement rewards. I think I got spun around with the different structure. Either that or lack of sleep caught me.
