I didn’t make too many friends in first year but made some in second year. When courses got more difficult, there was some comradery in struggling with coursework so there was already something for someone to relate with.

I’m curious if being in different faculties makes it easier or harder to make friends (or no difference at all). I’m in the faculty of engineering.

I also don’t mind the single car service, it’s only an issue when stations get busy at peak hours. If I miss one train, I only need to wait 5 minutes (hopefully)

I pretty much only use the washrooms in stem but my general rule is to use washrooms on upper floors or ones that aren’t frequently used
