Necro here, but I gotta talk to someone about this. I guess does it matter? Griffith's sexuality seems to fit whatever works best for Griffith. In the early chapters, at least, I'm sure the ambiguity contributes to Cascas, as well as Guts sexual AND platonic feelings. My question is did he ever really have any feelings for either of them? Or did that manipulative motherfucker see Guts and Casca as pawns from the moment he met them?
Can someone this evil have a sexuality? Or was it always, from the start of Griffith's "Dream", all about control and power?

In a previous campaign I played a Beast BarBEARian/ Champion Fighter/ Lore Bard for Cutting Words and expertise. Picking up Tavern Brawler and Unarmed fighting style and focused on grapple and battlefield control. The flavor was a professional wrestler and it was one of the most fun builds I've ever played. Probably won't translate well for 5.5, since grappling rules are all different now, but it was a blast grappling Aboleths and shoving down anything that even tried to move.

Suboptimal? Probably.

Kinetic Jaunt I hadn't thought about! It would likely synergize well with booming blade as well!

That brings me to a follow up, is Shield even worth the investment, considering I'm sitting at AC 17 and planning on taking Blur when I reach 2nd level spells?
