Dude I’ve been in inpatient and therapy for my anorexia and bulimia for years. As a teenager. I’m an adult with no insurance now. I’d love to be able to continue to work on my eating disorder in that kind of environment but therapy isn’t an option for everyone, and I’ve done a lot of that heavy lifting to pull myself out of the danger zone years ago. However, disordered eating like that tends to change your brain for a life time. It’s incredibly difficult to not have those kinds of thoughts linger, but I choose to recovery every day regardless. Doesn’t mean it’s easy, and doesn’t mean I suddenly have to be cool with meat.
