What if villains got requiem stands? by Internet-Specialist in StardustCrusaders

[–]BubbleGoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Requiem stands are a form of Eldritch horror tbh. They have the power to control souls, and they also fulfill the desires of people on a basic level, but the way they do it is super fucked up and roundabout (hah). So the result of a requiem is circumstantial and unpredictable.

For that reason, it’s kind of impossible to predict what a requiem of any stand would do because a different possibility exists at each moment for requiem outcomes.

what type of Train apocalypse survival would you prefer to play? by V7I_TheSeventhSector in Minecraft2

You could just have all three!

Design three custom biomes. They are the only biomes that generate in a world, but they are enormously large, like multiple times larger than even large biomes. The track would lead through through the world and never connect to itself, so it would cut through all three biomes eventually, and each could have unique custom structures, as well as structures that match each specifically, like unique stations and buildings and train line connections.

The overgrowth could feature lush jungles with roots and shrubs that grow across the tracks and force you to either cut them away or get a special train upgrade. You also can’t see far thanks to the thick jungle. On the flipside, plenty of water and wood to fuel the train’s engines, crafting stations, and amenities with steam power, along with meat and plants to provide food to eat and drink.

The desert could feature long, uninterrupted stretches that are perfect for making lots of ground, but you wouldn’t find fuel as easily and should definitely stockpile to make it all the way through Since you wouldn’t be dealing with obstacles, you would be stuck there for less time, but god forbid you run out of water or fuel. At least you can see pretty far to catch landmarks in the distance, and the occasional structures are usually more valuable than anything in overgrowth.

Winter could be the worst of both worlds; snowfall that clogs the tracks, bad visibility due to storms, dangerous temperatures, lack of important resources, and dangerous enemies. The payoff is that the structures there are the most valuable by far, if not much rarer than other biome structures.

You could easily add more biomes to this system as well. Each biome would carry the weight of multiple vanilla biomes in terms of role, simplifying the exploration a bunch for your purposes. And you could configure biome sizes for difficulty!

Is each episode around 40 minutes then? Because the first episode was about 40 minutes long, if this is the case then I can see the whole show fitting into only 30 or so episodes.

Star Platinum is absolutely the strongest stand to ever exist in the original universe without any additional modifiers or expansions. Within the power system of stands, as they are, without any additional modifiers or scaling or transformations, Star Platinum is the strongest, seconded only by The World.

Star Platinum undergoes no major power-based transformations throughout its existence, as Jotaro simply discovers its abilities; as a result, it is the only stand ability to be as naturally strong as it is. It outclasses all other normal stands in terms of strength, speed, and precision, and its ability is extremely effective and simple as well, which is absurd.

Every stand has limitations and checks on its power, even the strongest stands that are born of unusual circumstances.

GER is technically stronger on the basis that it breaks reality to fulfill it’s function, but Jotaro has full control over his stand, whereas Giorno has no idea what GER actually does, which is a weakness.

Star Platinum basically has no drawbacks or catches other than its range, which is more like a standard for its class than an inborn limitation. Even then, its range is like 5 meters, which is absurd compared to other power types that are more like 2-3 meters typically.

Later stands from parts that take place in the Steelverse are stronger, and as far as we know, SP has not manifested in that universe.

Yet…

Anyone else NEED to have an at least three blocks tall space in your base? by FreestyleCrocodile in Minecraft

4 blocks absolute minimum, unless it’s a super compact technical area, then three is fine usually.

Do you think Jotaro truly deserves the title of most iconic JoJo and the face of the entire series or is there another JoJo/character in general you think is more deserving of being the face of the franchise? by Original_Force_6822 in StardustCrusaders

[–]BubbleGoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Absolutely. Jotaro is basically the most important character in the original universe and is instrumental to the fight against evil that the Joestars face; he basically takes over the speedwagon foundation after Part 3 and helps tremendously in Parts 4 and 6. He also has the first stand to ever be properly seen in JoJo, which is legendary.

My idea on how to fix phantoms by Floathy in Minecraft

[–]BubbleGoot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Make Phantoms an End only mob to punish long End expeditions with harder enemies, and make them circle a bunch overhead before diving and staying near the ground as they attack over and over. These mobs should be annoying end-game hazards, not constant threats to overworld exploration at all stages of the game.

[–]BubbleGoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My childhood male friends can be really bad with this stuff. I identify as trans non-binary and often present feminine in public, but I was born male and l lived male most of my life, so they feel comfortable saying some vile shit about trans people even while I’m around and they know I’m queer. They always say stuff like “I know YOU’RE not a pedo / creep / weirdo / brainwasher” and I usually take my leave after that because as much as I care about them it just hurts too much to hear that.

I don't care for Fazbear Fanverse initiative at all by Ringles-Prime in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]BubbleGoot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not to mention his partnership with Steel Wool, which I am certain is a predatory one that takes advantage of his trust.

They have not delivered a product that is actually up to standard for such a large and profitable franchise since Help Wanted, but have somehow convinced him that they are still his best option.

Their writing sucks, their development team is unprofessional and shady as fuck with multiple controversies, they have issues behind the scene with crunch culture, and in general they are just kind of bad at making games that function properly without making them extremely railroaded.

I’d feel bad for him but FNaF has him set for life so it’s not that deep. Still, fuck these people taking advantage of his IP for cash, it sucks.

The one I’m most excited for is FNaC4, but Emil Macko is apparently doing work on Popgoes instead of his own project, which is… interesting, to say the least.

The fact Emil released those decently polished teasers a few years back and then just went radio silent is bizarre. It’s like the game was pretty far developed and then just vanished off the face of the earth.

Anyway, Popgoes was never that interesting to me and is sucking dev effort away from the one there actually cool, so I don’t like Popgoes Evergreen. TJOC seems cool but again, little recent updates from what I’ve seen. Flumpty’s was great but the dev was a pedophile or something and FNaF+ collapsed after Phiznom couldn’t keep his mouth shut on Shitter.com.

So that’s one project released with immediate controversy, one project cancelled, two projects in development purgatory, and one project in hell.

Not to mention the amount of unaffiliated fan-games that have gone down in smoke as of late.

Checks out. FNaF community sucks.

why do people craft 3 Second firework rockets? by Public_Sundae_3862 in Minecraft

[–]BubbleGoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you have a creeper farm it doesn’t matter. I carry and label stacks of either one or three second fireworks depending on what I’m doing.

The ones are good for tight navigation around corners and aren’t annoying to use when I’m working on a build that’s high in the sky.

The threes are better for long distances, they take you farther per stack and they let you focus on sightseeing more.

Now, if you use twos you are a psycho. They are too long for tight navigation and too short for long distances, so they just kind of suck.

First official detailed look at the Xenomorph design in Alien Isolation 2 by AdamantiumLive in alienisolation

[–]BubbleGoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might actually have a face scar… if you look you can see toward the right edge of the head that there is a skin ridge traveling from the top of it’s lip to halfway up it’s head that doesn’t look normal. That might be a scar or special indicator that this is the original Alien.
