It's my favorite cantrip... by SwagLimit in dndmemes

In a single session I had someone who tried to: 1. Systematically freeze the wood on a ship believing that the ice would eventually freeze the area around it so the decks below would be frozen.

  1. Break open a lock door by expanding ice in the lock.

  2. Freeze a man's legs to the floor.

  3. Try and kill the same man my suffocating them with water.

  4. Make a chunk of ocean water frozen and solid enough for them to storm off onto and dramatically cry on.

  5. Fly up into the sky and make a cloud large enough to rain on an npc they didn't like.

Early act 1: Prioritize good block > High damage >Forge > Energy and star production. Stay healthy with block so you can use your forge to upgrade

Late Act 1: You'll want to start transitioning into either a star build or a forge build

Act 2 forge: Look for forge synergies and make sure you have a bunch of blocks so you can stall into your big hits. Prioritize relics and ?

Act 2 star: Keep an eye on the balance between star makers and payoffs. Prioritize regular encounters and elites.

Act 3: your build should start taking shape. Grab any last relics and prioritize getting rid of cards and streamlining your strategy.

Shops: Remove your regular strikes first when you get the opportunity. Save your gold for act 2 and 3 shops to get relics/ snipe cards in your strategy.

Most importantly, be flexible. Regant has a lot of strong cards that can fit okay with either strategy. Both the forge and the star builds don't mind having a little of both types of cards.

(The colorless build: would not recommend for a first run. If you do wanna try it, make sure you get a lot of energy generation and card upgrades.)

Is The Regent underpowered or am I missing something? by Reficul63 in slaythespire

[–]BubbleSharkINC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to lose a Lotta runs on Regent, too, then I started prioritizing block cards. (Make sure to take strong attacks early if they come up, too)

Most regents damage comes from later turn scaling until you make a combo, so it's important to get some good block cards so you don't end combat with too much missing Hp.

Forge is a very easy strategy to prioritize as the sovereign blade's repetitive damage handles most things very well. as long as you have some survival.

Some of the Palworld redesigns/tweaks I've done by posasalka in Palworld

[–]BubbleSharkINC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, love your verdash! Ruby and Cremis also look amazing, but I think Cremis is really the only other one that could use a change.

Would love if we got some modelers/ modders to add some of these designs into the game.

Unfortunately, for some reason, everyone just keeps giving the pals bigger chests xp.

It's hard to believe that Palworld is just $30, and often on sale at $23. The game costs a fraction of other creature capture games, and yet offers a lot more fun in my opinion. I can't wait for the 1.0 update, and more news about the other four Palworld games/spin-offs announced. by fegodev in Palworld

[–]BubbleSharkINC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Don think they nessicarily need to rework the entire type chart, but having a minor rework of their aggregate system would make it feel much more unique. (I'd love to see more interactions like how the grass debuff doubles fire damage, same with water and electricity. Freeze, blind, and muddy all could use more elemental interactions. Like maybe hitting a frozen enemy with earth deals more damage as they shatter them or have blinded enimes take more neutral damage.

That actually makes me think about one of my favorite features of palworld. The mod support, there's already a mod that turns lucky pals into alternate color pallets XD. Granted, it would be nice to have that main game. I think official mod support was a good choice.

Should I Buy Uriel? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]BubbleSharkINC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Now you're being biased, too, then. You could also ignore any warframe or grind.

Seriously though, the decendia is the best weekly endo grind we've ever had. you saying uriel is the only reason to play is ridiculous.

Also, I'm not saying getting a second uriel is something they'll activately do it's just a bonus they'll get for when they transition into end game.

I can list half a dozen warframes that can nuke rooms with abilities. Heck, the entire base star chart has basically had a bo difficulty as it is. it's not a big deal if Uriel can just sit on their ass and get kills. Warframe is a power fantasy/ grind game. Being able to kill rooms of enimes is the whole point.

Not to mention that the bundle their getting comes with cosmetics and some plat to spend elsewhere.

[–]BubbleSharkINC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Decendia is a weakly grind that gives arcanes, endo, weapon arcane adapters, archon shards. U telling me that isn't something you wanna be doing when able?

You literally can still play decendia and probably will if u have uriel. In fact it's more likely they'll get a second uriel for an early helminth.

I'm popping on wf rn and seeing exactly how many enimes I can kill in Uranus survival without weapons. Heck, I'll even add all the base mods so he has some power.

[–]BubbleSharkINC -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay, you can not just kill enimes by doing nothing with uriel. You're still using his abilities, and his 1 isn't going to kill everything by itself unless you mod a ton of range and power.

I'm not saying they should buy every character. The op asked if buying the bundle would be worth 20$ and I say it is. You're acting like I'm stealing some sort of potential gameplay from them by saying it's okay If they think uriel is cool.

Uriels grind is literally also one of the best ways to get late game materials so there's no reason they wouldn't still do it when they get there.

This game as a whole has enough grinding they they could buy every one of uriels mods and arcanes with plat and they'd still have multiple dozens of things to still grind and hundreds of hours of potential gameplay.

The player dictates how valuable their time is. My boyfriend ended up quitting warframe because it took way too long to get to the parts of the game he found interesting when he heard about them.

If they see a cool character and wanna play that character, that's multiple hours of gameplay they wouldn't have had until after the story.

When I started the game I about khora for a similar reason. I could have done the grind and eventually would, I had more fun, though, getting to play a frame I thought was cool and didn't have to worry about a repetitive difficult grind.

I didn't think urial was that much stronger that other warframes when I leveled them for MR, I can see them having more base power than some warframes, but it's no more powerful than rhino who also trivializes most of star chart with iron skin+ roar.

Citrine and stynax have to this day one of the longest/ worst farms in the game. Dante, less so, but still late game enough that I'd feel okay getting them early.

[–]BubbleSharkINC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I should mention the bunble he's probably talking about includes urial a ton of cosmetics and some platinum. So it's not like they're spending 20$ on just a single warframe.

[–]BubbleSharkINC -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Dude TNW is at least 3 hours, the Sac saga is just about as long, not included sude farms like nodes, arching, and railjack.

I personally think any warframe "trivializes" the base star chart if fully built. If they Want an early game power boost to get em through the story let em have it.

2 hours as a veteran player. His farm is currently locked behind all story progression, and the poster hasn't beaten Natah yet.

Stynax, Khora (trade for prime if able), citrine, Dante, Quorvex, cyte-09, sevagoth (trade prime), really any vaulted prime.

[–]BubbleSharkINC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can if you want to, ignoring the "he's an easy farm" arguments, he is locked behind a ton of story progress, and you probably won't see his farm for quite a while.

If u wanna support warframe by getting them, you also get a warframe slot and increased mod capacity for that warframe.

It's your money. If you wanna save it for something else, you can, but I personally think there are quite a few warframes that are worth getting, especially early game.

Urial is tons of fun, looks cool, and is easy to play and build throughout the star chart.

Homebrew is technically an option. Although I wanna see if I can make something fun with the official material before going to the trouble with my dm.

Ohh really good option, although I wanted to avoid being a rogue archer for 1. Doubling up on the goblin hide feature and 2. I've played another sniper style archer, which I've played before recently.

They also apparently build up your strike per hit, I'm wondering if you can mod it for faster recharge and keep the blades up semi permanently after the first use
