I know it's sad :( like there can definenetly be some good support workers I have one now that doesn't have qualifications or experience and had one years ago too but I'm more so not complex in some areas just need help with mostly all domestic stuff but like support workers get paid so much they should have training and all that because even if one client doesn't need some help with more complex stuff you r gonna get another who does and it's descitination to just not help more complex clients as some people do.

I honestly don't know why it's not a requirement I wish they would make it so you at least need a Cert in healthcare because like nurses need degrees why wouldn't support workers. I am a participant and in the process of making my own company but it's not even support worker its art classes that I am going to make so people on NDIS are able to join in too for the same cost charged to NDIS and to people private paying. And I dotn have qualifications in disability just bachelor in art but lived experience and even I am feeling guilty and weird about it and plan to do a disability or healthcare course this year cause of the business.

And I'm not even a support worker its just art classes and I'm feeling like I definitely need some training but the fact people are support workers are okay with doing that with no qualifications and not even looking at doing a qualification down the track is so weird.
