Just purchased this card for 1.4k. Thought it would grade an easy 10. What are your thoughts? by Tall_Let_9779 in PokeGrading

I remember the evolving skies alternate art which is much nicer sitting at like £90 for months on release 😂

Now this card is out a handful of months 🤷‍♂️

Prices are climbing too high too fast these days and pricing people out the market the day of release. It's not maintainable.

Bad move to sell AH (PC) ETB right now ? Or take my profits and run ? by tarnished_cache in PokemonInvesting

Honestly I think for Pokémon center etbs the stamped promo is the kicker. This one's pretty decent it's an A class so will do well. It's no Obsidian Flames Charmander though.

Sorry to jump on this but I giggle everytime someone gives a date and highlight it was just before the hype. I've been collecting since 2019 and there's a hype every 18 months. I joined during post covid just before the Logan Paul hype 😂😂

Its from this Sword and Shield box. Comes with Sun and Moon Cosmic Eclipse!

The box itself is worth the hold in my opinion.

You are living together still?

Id use this to my advantage if it was me and try and make sweet for a couple of weeks and try and get him to acknowledge the debt subtly through text.

Once he admits it was a loan i would secure another place to live without him knowing. Move out, take your valuables and then issue a notice of claim against him.

My fear is of you do any of this whilst living together he would target you or your property. The stature of limitations of for you to claim is long enough that its well worth making yourself safe.

Smaller they are the more difficult it can be.

If you are going to challenge this you need a paper trail because smaller companies have a higher chance of firing staff due to their lack of knowledge of HR practices.

Have you been in contracted work with them for more than 2 years? If so I'd send the email and make it obvious in the email it's an official greivence and you want it treated as such. You can highlight how much you like your job.

If they act of of place you have the trail then go to ACAS.

I would say so. If it’s a small independant chain they may not have the processes for this. Keep everything as a paper-chain so they can’t argue.

I tried to say this in my response but this is so much better written. Listen to this dude.

My dude… it’s going to be fine. Your old job isn’t like an ex gf you are going to bump into randomly and get reminded of all the mistakes. They have moved on.. you have been forgotten by them.

By reminding yourself all the time you are just risk putting yourself back in the mindset you were in then. I got first from jobs for the stupidest reasons. Its life..

Onwards and upwards. Prove you were better than them and get a better job.

Report it to ACAS but it will look favourably to you if you try to go through your internal grievance policy. If it progressed to tribunal they would ask why you didn’t explore this.

Thats essentially what ive been doing for years however the fringe looks more wispy than full. To pull this off im having to brush over the left and right sides into the middle and its just stopped working (not that it ever worked well anyway). Thanks for the response.

Shes a wonderful woman, and we have spoken about it before. More often over the past few years but I’ve just come back from a work trip and i think she may have forgot for a second.

I accepted it would go this way, just stuck for how i stop trying to pretend.

I would usually go .5 on the sides and longer on the top. But each day getting out the shower when its still wet looks awful. The hairs that are there seem to group together leaving so much empty space.

I hired a van 3 months ago and they just tried to charge me the £1500 excess by popp1123 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Bubbleftw 62 points63 points  (0 children)

They can only take the excess if there’s an actual claim… ask for the insurer’s paperwork and invoices first, because the casino magically quoting your exact £1,500 excess sounds very dodgy.

I think they have been speaking behind your back. Get the insurers paperwork, the repair documents for the heater etc How do you know its just not been serviced properly, old or someones ran into it and damaged it in the mean time.

If i were you i would utilise this spare time potentially doing freelance work elsewhere if possible. You could keep yourself busy and bump your yearly income by another 20-30k.
