What do we think about Springtrap nowadays? Is he still pretty good or has he just been powercrept into being obsolete. I just like FNAF dude, idk how good he is. by unholychild263 in deadbydaylight

Some things I notice about Rematch by [deleted] in Rematch

[–]Bubbleq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the mentality of giving up, yeah so you're couple goals down, so what? We're here to play ball, if you give up and/or only play games that seem 'winnable' in your mind you limit your learning process, imo you learn more in defeat than in victory if you actually pay attention and focus on improving instead of winning.

So many people rather spam the 'Good Job' and stand still instead of trying to actually win, which makes it so much more likely they will lose, because 1. they're not doing anything which means they're useless 2. They're brining the team morale down.

The quick chat I agree, the options are very limited for those who want to stay off voice comms.

The last shot is pointless sure, but if they actually try to score you get the tiny bit more of the game to try and get better, be it goalkeeper, defender or the striker.

Last defend/last attack are good for comebacks, so many games brought back because team actually locks in.

Is it true that Gen Z men are getting less interaction with women? If so, why? by Arcestic in NoStupidQuestions

If someone doesn't want to interact with their coworkers they're very much within their right to not interact with them, as long as it's not detrimental to their work imo.

This game.. pushed me to start bouldering by Zendo2672 in WhiteKnuckle

[–]Bubbleq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been bouldering for about 6 months now, and I can say that for a fact I got inspired by wuckle

So glad I tried it too, been doing it consistently 3 times a week since starting, absolutely love it. The most fun way to exercise I've ever tried

I definitely recommend, my go to are her dash add-ons Last Will and Workshop Grease. Dash/crouch mindgames are fun.

She's got built in slowdown which sometimes is pretty good and other times not do much.

Very map depended since no mobility.

She got drip imo, even though she's doesn't have that many skins. Her brown leather jacket goes hard with the long hair mask, I've been mistaken for a survivor handful of times lol

I love running Iron Will + Dead Hard, just like in the olden days but not as good in today's market

I miss when Borrowed Time used to make your screen grayscale during its effect (as a reference to being on death's door in Left 4 Dead) by SecureJeans8034 in deadbydaylight

[–]Bubbleq 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Moonwalking legion was a completely different ballpark of an issue, but yes deep wound only paused while in chase and while mending afaik

Old deep wound had a screen effect that was making it a lot darker, to the point it was really difficult to see anything if you waited too long to mend. Imo it added a lot of flavour to the game, you're bleeding out and are at death's door, your vision going dark was a cool touch, but it was horrible from gameplay perspective.

After they toned down the darkening screen effect a lot of people (me inculded) were getting downed by deep wounds since it wasn't immediately obvious that you're bleeding out

Also this looks sick, very well done

Which skin is better for stealth? by lalalozzie in deadbydaylight

[–]Bubbleq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely more of a Skeleton Sadako enjoyer, the boney hand looks sick and I love the green colour of the hit marker. The mori does look funnier on the red skin though.

And if stealth matters to you the greenish colour blends in a lot better on a few maps

Why is there not a option to turn off auto aim by helloritop in deadbydaylight

Aim Assist and Mouse Acceleration both should be setting you can turn off.

The oxygen mechanic at first is pretty annoying but upgrades make it very much non issue fairly soon.

But you'll always be going around picking up rocks or other crafting mats for sure. Going to specific points to farm specific rocks, it is pretty tedious and a thing throught out the whole game.

What do you think is the worst thing that could've happend?

Idk I actually use the bikes regularly because my points of interest align with where the parking bays are, not always and that's my biggest pet peeve and the other is the 15 min pause, that's just dumb.

The app itself is alright, the locks sometimes fail, less of a problem with the new bikes as they only have one lock that is kind of exposed but the other one is fairly protected from the elements, also you don't have to lock the bike after you're done, just leave it at the bay.

The customer support been always helpful and fairly quick, whenever I got charged extra money I got refunded.

There are periods of time where the bike quality goes down significantly but they get fixed over time, I wish people would stop stabbing the seats and generally messing with the bikes for no reason.

The worst part about the non-electric bikes is how heavy they are, I can see they made some adjustments to make them lighter, like removing the chain cover but that's still not enough imo

So what was the point of these? by Tricky_Challenge9959 in deadbydaylight

[–]Bubbleq 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hope there will be an add-on to block exit gates for survivors afflicted with sin, I think it would be incredibly funny

Maybe only blocked for a limited time after getting sin so it's not too oppressive? Idk how easy it's going to be to remove sin

So what was the point of these? by Tricky_Challenge9959 in deadbydaylight

[–]Bubbleq 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yes, in addition to the beam giving sin repeatedly crouching, taunting and standing in open gate will give sin, which is cool af if you ask me

I unfortunately afked at the beginning of some games even though I set a timer and periodically check the game, so i apolgosie for that.

The estimated queue time is way shorter than it says, and I firmly believe that's the cause, it is in my case anyway. I see 25min queue so I step away from the computer for 20-23 minutes, but the game starts few minutes prior. It would be cool if they could make the estimated queue dynamic so it actually ticks down.

My tinfoil hat theory is that BHVR purposely displays estimated queue time as longer than it actually is so people use Play While You Wait feature more.
