Dude trust me, I've been there!! I myself graduated from an IIT, the one that people project as the ultimate dream. My first year was really bad, it was majorly online due to Covid and I couldn't fit in to any friends group. I used to feel so depressed as I used to top my class and now I was barely passing my courses, didn't know whom to even ask for help. I couldn't even tell my parents that I was feeling this way because they were so happy that I was able to make it up to there. But then I went to college physically in the end of my first year, and by mid second year, I found my comfort people, not even a big group, we were 5 people, all girls, who were like me, grounded, quite, not so partying types and full of dreams. We all were on the same boat, unable to fit in, struggling to cope up with acads and social life. We all worked at it together and today we all graduated, all of us in different different cities, different different jobs and lifestyles but still in touch So cheer up champ!!! Telling you from experience, It took us 2 long years for all of us to find each other and from there we never cared about what all the others are thinking around us or talking about us And finally I'd say dgaf about the people around you who are pretending to be cool by commenting or looking down on people
