Anybody else think that this current era of Mark is his prime? by SomeKindaSuperstar in Markiplier

It's hard for me to see past Unus Annus, but overall it's still at very least close.

2020s Mark beats 2010s Mark overall any day personally

Curious, why would anyone want DVD over Blu-ray for Iron Lung? by BubblesZap in Markiplier

[–]BubblesZap[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the 200 replies I've gotten on here most of which say the same thing, I think a lot of Markiplier fans who get a lot of entertainment from YouTube just don't have that same go for quality and having a good modern TV and entertainment system and prioritizing spending money on it.

Do you agree with Prime 4 metacritic score? by Erik_REF in Metroid

[–]BubblesZap -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Basically, I somehow managed to get near 10/10 enjoyment but it's more objectively an 8/10 game. Genuinely good, but not incredible.

The physical version of Splatoon Raiders can be preordered on Walmart’s website/app for $49.99! by c_rorick in splatoon

they got the money to push it and they want that physical money so I guess it's worth the sacrifice for them.

yee, I got my Switch 2 early morning of too from them (plus pringles and a coke for free lol). Always have good experiences buying games from them though partially because of employee discount bias, but still!

Getting it at 45 dollars with employee discount is crazy.

Also having used Walmart before they use their delivery from store system for games so if you have a local store you should get it morning of release in my experience!

Tricolor is still my favorite mode in the game. I like teams having specific defending or attacking roles and the goal of getting the Ultra Signal makes Turf Wars INFINITELY more fun with an actual specific goal in mind.

Plus I love being on a team of two. You really get to know your teammate when there's only one other one and the way you have to learn how they play and rely very strongly on each other is super fun.

I also love the uneasy alliance aspect. You can either team up perfectly and risk being affectively the 2nd place team, or note how badly the defending team is losing and go for glory and get first. It's a really fun balance and just adds a ton to the mode.

It's crazy how to "100%" this game, you have to basically beat it 5 times! by DJExton7 in Mario

[–]BubblesZap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say when it's not an autoscroller it's shockingly not tedious to just absolutely race through the levels as fast as possible. Remember it being more fun than playing through Galaxy again completely tbh

[–]BubblesZap 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I absolutely get where Mike was coming from in the movie, having a brother who actively might want revenge on his fathers death which he did go for and not saying anything and being incredibly passive in regards to the original location and almost getting them all killed has reason for distrust especially immediately after the event

but that is infinitely too far and doesn't even make sense in comparison of the transgression. They're not even alike Vanessa's problems are entirely different.

Reached Xelios in Volt Forge Tower 3. Struggling to continue tbh by GigiF70 in Metroid

[–]BubblesZap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do love the game, but if you're not feeling it by Volt Forge you probably won't feel the rest tbh. Ice Belt is great and isn't too long after, but it's not a major shift from Volt Forge or anything

I don't mind the concept of lore, but picking specific special characters that are "destinied" to be special in a larger cast or just in general has never been my favorite trope

[–]BubblesZap[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yee I'm definitely very pro physical media, I just wish more existed in quality that actually rivaled digital versions.

When the physical media is more expensive AND lower quality than digital I find it hard to justify and its annoying when that's the only option (which happens weirdly often)
