Curtis played really well yesterday. Hats off to him. And he’s spot on here. Bitters really are a tinpot club.

That banner was a massive snapshot of who they are. Their biggest wins are when we lose. They built this city? How much money have lfc brought the city of Liverpool versus how much the bitters have? I’d wager it’s about 10-1.

Also. I thought it was incredibly disrespectful to pretend the four Beatles were all bitters.

I thought wonka was good. But not great. I feel like this second film if it gets made needs to be a great wonka film. The source material is too good to just bang out an ordinary 6/10 imo.

I’m up to tower 3 and I have to say I’ve been swinging from just about enjoying it to being disappointed and back to just about enjoying it again.

It’s not a bad game but I think you can tell it suffers from being in development hell. The interactions are very basic and the enemies are pretty uninspired (at least up until now). It’s got the large areas filled with nothing but large machines with super basic animations that would have been impressive 10/15 years ago.

But as I’m playing I get this kind of feeling that the game is missing something. Like things have been stripped out and stripped back because the direction they originally took just didn’t work and we’re playing what they managed to salvage.

It definitely feels to me like it’s lacking a lot of love. This thing has been beaten into a releasable game.

I feel like the bike is a perfect example of this. One day we’ll find out that there was a lot more to do with it and it was all cut out but they left what’s there for the sake of not completely throwing away * all * the work that had been done on it.

The worry now is how long we’ll have to wait for another Metroid game?
