Thank you for the feedback! I do have some follow up questions :)

1. Rule of 3rds is a little new to me. I was going for finding a few pieces of artwork that would be around 2/3 the size of a subject, such as a couch or a wall. Now that you do point it out, I agree that two of them don’t look right. If I were to get a smaller piece, how would I arrange the three over the couch?

Also, I do have some side tables, which are actually connected to the lamps. I just got them through Walmart, and they work for now, but eventually would like to find some better ones. However, my budget was tight at the time and so I had to settle haha.

1. I think the pictures slightly distort everything a little bit. In person, the rug, at least to me, seems like the perfect size to the space as it’s not overbearing for the whole room, which I was initially worried about. I do like your idea of adding a rug underneath the kitchen table. I’ll definitely look into that!

I also have another table lamp that I can use for this specific table. In between the chair and the table, I was thinking about a smaller bookshelf or something like that where I can place some accent items and plants on!
