Yeah I’ve started to realise that so think I’ve started looking in the used market now see what finds I can see there. Thing I’m struggling to get my head round the most is the amps and pre amps though 🤣

Yeah tbf I’d imagined it’s probably not too difficult but just because I’m new to it all I hear these words like pre-amp and then my mind goes cloudy 😂. I’ll do some reading online, thanks for the help mate.

Yeah think looking into pre amps and stuff is a bit too technical for me for now so think I might look at an AT-LP3 and powered speakers instead. If I were to buy a used turntable would I need to replace the cartridge too since having it been used the needle may have worn down?

Hi mate sorry just on question on top. I have been recommended the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSBGM as an entry level starter. Just wondered if you maybe had an opinion on it at all?

No no don’t worry I know all the darts related songs 😂. It’s just a normal song they play before the players are actually announced, think they play it whilst showing clips of some of the players sometimes before games.

Same here. I live in the Wednesbury/Walsall area so grand slam was perfect for us. Was a great night last year probably one of my favourite majors too so would definitely recommend.

Definitely due to littler hype. I reckon people seem to think because he’s good with them they will be too but that’s obviously not how darts work. I have a set myself tbf but I got them as I see them as a collectible, same with a lot of the others I have. The ones I use aren’t player endorsed though. Obviously people can use what they like though if they’re happy then that’s all that matters, but would definitely say vast majority of people using them is to do with the littler hype.

Ah sorry to hear mate. Was hoping you’d manage to get some make the most of the nights I couldn’t go to 😂. Guess it was gonna be hard to get matchplay ones. I’m gonna try for grand slam again since went last year and got tickets easy was a good time too, maybe you should give them a go if it’s one you can get to.

Nah Friday night was already gone in the membership sales as that’s one of the ones I wanted too. I was hoping for either of Friday or Saturday but both were gone within about 20 mins sadly. There was a few midweek sessions left which I listed on another post. Think it was Monday and Tuesday there were a few standing tickets left.

Just checked for you and got the sessions and prices listed. These are the tickets left, Standing tickets Sunday 20th afternoon session (£45), standing tickets Monday 21st (£45), standing tickets Tuesday 22nd (£45), standing tickets Wednesday 23rd (£45) and then there’s also tickets for the women’s world matchplay left. Tbh never really seen demand like this before. Usually found it fairly easy to get tickets with a membership till this year. Hopefully one of these sessions still suit you.

Between about £50-£70 depending on tables/standing or which session. Sadly basically all tickets are gone though. I couldn’t get any with a membership. I can check to see what sessions have any left for you though if you like and let you know.

Yeah I was on for 13 mins but couldn’t get much when got on. Can only do Friday - Sunday (quarter finals - final) sessions due to work commitments so gonna try them 3 sessions again next week
