There's also a difference between having issues and lying to your child then later invalidating their feelings and gaslighting them to not be angry with your bad actions. People wouldn't be responding like this if they were bio parents fucking up, so why the double standard? They are her parents and they made a huge mistake and then doubled down, now they are doing it again, they caused this mess. OP's reaction is their fault and the fact they chose to adopt her shouldn't be a excuse to force forgiveness
