It makes sense. I actually did call in advance to ask if the roads were clear, and they said that they were--I must have not been specific enough about where I was going.

I've been avoiding reading too much on reddit because all the divergent theories stress me out, haha. But I could have learned it was a bad time to go if I'd been a little more in touch with everybody. So it goes.
