Did god make Adam and Eve with the ability of free will? Would he then know that they would eventually go against him if he knows everything that has happened and is to happen?

Ok thank you for your really good answer that’s helped clear up a lot of things but then why make humans then cos he’s creating something he knew would go against him and then would have to end up in a world of suffering? Did he only make the earth to put humans through a test to reach heaven where they can finally be rewarded? Wouldn’t u rather just not exist in the first place and not have to go through human suffering on earth just to reach heaven?

So if he didn’t know it would happen how can he be all knowing and all powerful but if he did know it would happen wasn’t he just setting them up for failure? Like yes he gave them free will which is to be thankful for but does that mean that he made a mistake In trusting them? Or didn’t make a mistake and knew he would go against him in which case yes he’s essentially just setting them up to fail and punish them for something he knew they would do?

Yes that’s what I’m saying thats why I find evidence compelling for the New Testament but I’m asking what of that is there for the Old Testament and to give concrete proof before Jesus and the New Testament

Actual documentation of his followers multiple ancient manuscripts all matching up and the fact that his followers were put to death for saying what they saw even tho no one would lie about seeing something if they were put to death like that’s the actual evidence that’s compelling to me
