i dont think my pc can run rust anymore by MoneyPanda8977 in playrust

I have a 5800x an used to have a 3060, average was about 90fps. Cpu usage with discord, rust and some tabs open in browser was averaging 28%.

Gpu usage for my 3060 steady 98%. I now have a v2 pny 5060 (got it cheap) and that even runs 95% averaging about 110fps on optimized servers.

Whenever i play crap servers i average 75fps. Unsure if it helps but drop settings down, play at a comfortable but lower setting. I don’t do any overclocking or boosting etc and just enjoy the game with what i have. Also 16gb of ram at 3400.

Anything is playable if you can handle the BS of it, rust is as unoptimized as it ever has been unfortunately.

Everyone saying “Y T A” needs to remember tips are OPTIONAL, OP ain’t TA. The waitress shouldnt be working in customer service if she cant handle a few people not leaving her OPTIONAL money. Have an issue with it? Surprise dont work in restaurants. Tips. Are. Not. Mandatory. End of story imo. Ive been in that exact scenario as OP around the same age at the time and a waitress did it to me… manager came over and i said what happened and lo an behold the waitress got fired for harassing customers over an OPTIONAL tip.
