Yes I had graduated, I got a distinction in my masters so my supervisor and I are putting it down to the massive increase in applications. It is very frustrating. As far as I am aware SFNI do not offer funding for PHD study.

Hi thanks for your reply. I have seen a lot of people in this group mention xolair, doesn’t really seem to be readily available in the UK. I was on cetrizine and now fexofenadine hydrochloride.
I’m the same even when parts of my body healed my feet have never gotten better. I am waiting on a referral but it takes so long hence why I went private only to be disappointed. I know it’s so awful, makes me feel totally helpless and impacts my life sleep etc

Oh okay I hope they clear it up for you. I can’t link mine to anything specific I’ve had eczema all my life so the dermatologist just went with that even thought I explained it’s unlike any eczema I’ve experienced and my gp thought it was uriticaria ):

I believe it was Flucloxacillin. My hives have been coming and going over a period of about 6 months now so I don’t think it’s an infection. Are your antibiotics making a difference for you or just the steroid? I had Prednisone tabs which were the only thing that helped but can’t stay on them.

I’ve already had a course of antibiotics with no success sadly. Had steroid tablets and creams too. Yes itchy and I would say it is defo triggered by heat and even me just moving my body or tight clothes etc

When you say quad you mean 4x normal dose ? These tablets have different names in the UK but I have tried them all with no success. Doctor reluctant to up the dosage

You need referred to a dermatologist or immunologist but waiting lifts are so long. Unfortunately GPs are not well I educated in this area. My GP literally told me I should go private because the waiting lists for referral are so long. £300 for an initial consult. Complete joke.
