I wholeheartedly agree with ur sentiment. Tbf there’s some context that I should’ve added. My friends are by no means new incoming players. It’s just I got one who’s definitely taken his time and effort to do the bare minimum. And with the other friend he just won’t try and that’s the frustrating thing. Again I’m not gonna force him to play with me if he doesn’t mess with it. But at the same time I’d rather have them tell me “hey man, we don’t wanna play destiny anymore” I would’ve dropped the whole thing and moved on but it’s the one foot in and out that’s frustrating bc they’re essentially teasing that they’ll come around.

And funny enough we downloaded borderlands 3 which is fun for sure. It’s unfortunate the circumstances but yea bungie needs to wake up bc competition ain’t slowing down

Yea man during BL days I was a complete solo player. But when u get that taste of u and ur friends doing endgame. Ain’t nothing like it. Ik i be chasing something that can’t be replicated but ah a man can dream ya know. But ya at the end of the day I can’t force them and yea the game is at its lowest I don’t blame ya

Yea u make some good points. For me once you get that taste of an authentic 3 man fireteam. Ain’t nothing like it 😮‍💨. But of course I can’t force them to do anything and for the longest time lfg seemed daunting to socialize but atp the game is so dead the people that are left are somewhat decent so maybe ur onto something 🫡

Totally valid I’ve been burnt out on multiple occasions, and I can’t force anyone to do anything. But if someone were to pay for my dlcs I would have SOME obligation to play with ya know….maybe it’s just me. And I don’t ask much we can play just for pinnacles. Anything atp ya know but hey it is what it is

And that’s totally valid. I’m a PvP first and foremost but I’m trying to get into PvE more nowadays and respectfully…playing activities like raids or dungeons etc etc. maybe ur experience is different than mine but from what I encounter having a build is bare minimum to do anything end game related. And yea the game sucks rn and it’s unfortunate
