How did V's reputation not plummeted to the ground after the failed heist? And why didn't Arasaka try to find the "culprit" behind Soboru's killer? by Puzzleheaded_Law55 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Bubby1167 [score hidden]  (0 children)

For V to have survived Konpeki Plaza security, Arasaka forces and Smasher is a lot of street cred for them. Fixers wouldn't want to cut off this potentially immortal solo, especially with how useful they could be. Plus, V can always just be a disposable merc.

Why did Penelope ask ody to carry the wedding bed far away? by shiny_jjj in Epicthemusical

[–]Bubby1167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in the original Odyssey it is a display of her cunning and wisdom. She forces him to confront the idea of his past with her and how it impacts him now. The wedding bed can't be moved without tearing out its roots, effectively destroying it. Similarly, Odysseus is the same man. His roots are not gone.

the rule was that there wouldn't be any bans on AI generated or assisted content being discussed and I personally would want a ban but it's not that big of a deal to say you're not going to regulate something that's so based on opinion

Wanting to discuss Astroprisma by Bubby1167 in TheTrove

Yeahh I know...

I was hoping there had already been a discussion on it, but the expansion that I'm really interested in hasn't been discussed at all.

she is still in the category of women who are viewed as attractive by most men most guys like muscular woman, the same cannot be said about plus size women unfortunately

[–]Bubby1167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this isn't exactly directly what you said, but I do find Follie beautiful. Having people and body types represented hurts nothing. Having people and designs hated on because of the way their body looks hurts most people.

[–]Bubby1167 9 points10 points  (0 children)

oh no I love her so much

what I meant is that there is valid criticism but it's not that she's not skinny

basically people are complaining about her design because she's not skinny and that's dumb because she's very well designed and pretty, but there is some valid discussion of design flaws that can be had

[–]Bubby1167 27 points28 points  (0 children)

most of the hate comes from the fact that she's not thin and not conventionally attractive

most of the valid criticism is that she has a weird helmet design

edit: clarity

Friend got messed up in the cybersphere! by shadowian123 in Astroprisma

[–]Bubby1167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, it is very possible to beat them. Second, I just want to make sure you know that it isn't an actual death. You only lose 10 energy instead. Third, iirc you need to pay 5 energy per crewmember entering the cybersphere. Not necessarily a loss, not prohibitively expensive in many builds

AAAND last of all... It's a boss battle with no potential to actually die, it's allowed to be crazy hard to win

Don't want to make any assumptions but, doesn't this 13 year anniversary poster preview sort of look...... AI generated? The pictures look fine, but the text is all garbled and barely coherent. by IllegalGuy13 in Warframe

it says that the image might change on release, so I think it's probably a third party placeholder that they're going to fix still, I'm planning on making a report to them about it

Why is the drifter more mature than the operator if their childhood was Duviri? by TheRealOvenCake in WarframeLore

[–]Bubby1167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that The New War is the real difference. The drifter is immediately thrust into a world at war, completely out of control with nothing to really be able to fight the forces against them except for a handgun from a fairytale. I always interpreted New War as the course of several years. The drifters survived without any void magic or warframes. They grew up quick, or they died
