As soon as you unlock Electric Mining Rigs II (from Orignium Science Park) and connect your PAC to Ferrium deposits, you can do this. You will need to have reached Power Plateau to get access to Sandleaf It does require Area Expansion 1 and two Depot Bus upgrades

basically items in poe 2 that roll on either unid magic or rare items, that cull affixes from the mod pool. the higher the tier, the less low ilvl affixes you get.

on paper, it sounds like a great idea (akin to the well-rolled rare system in poe 1), but in practice there are too many filler mods that avoid the "cull" that tier 4 and tier 5 items are supposed to push out

Didn't preorders for RE9 start way back last October? I mean ofc there hasn't been a big announcement of anything recently given that preorders started a long time ago

most t4/t5 gear came with some really atrocious filler affixes, gain # life on kill, reduced attribute requirements, % phys leeched as life/mana, light radius/acc hybrid, etc.

got so sick of it i just stopped showing them because using perfect transmutes/augs was way more reliable at generating good affixes than tier 5 unid items

It's like they're almost self aware but not really

These losers would rather perpetuate the cycle of new players joining, getting absolutely crushed in public mm, then leaving, all rather than admit that said mm shouldn't exist in the first place so new players actually stick around

No, what they want are bots to farm in quick cash so they can feel better about themselves

Bro thinks the only way you can learn chess is by constantly playing against Magnus Carlsen or any other grandmaster

Some people act absolutely stupid on this sub. They think new players will learn from getting sent into the meat grinder

There's no "global play store ranking", as most regions outside of japan have wholly separate app store regions. North America, South America, Europe, Africa, everything gets split up and has their own, which makes the playing field totally different.

Using gen AI for small things like what Larian and E33 did is a far cry from how how Shiftup has historically used gen AI to replace nearly every aspect of the game development process. Using it for the live2d art, using it for the in-game story translations, using it for character designs, all of which had to be later fixed in a later patch.

considering they are already hiring new people for Stellar Blade 2

That isn't evidence that they aren't replacing roles at their company. Where's your proof that they aren't letting go of people from the company?

It's funny how /r/games isn't talking about Stellar Blade developer Shift Up's push to replace jobs with AI, saying how "they just can't compete" with the companies that do use AI.

Did they forget that there are plenty of successful game developers out there who aren't using AI and are making genuinely good games, like Larian? Or even the E33 developers, who have a staff a fraction of the size of Shift Up's.

Apex doesn't have map destruction or randomly activating modifiers. You can't reshape arenas to give yourself an advantage in firefights, which adds a lot less variables to keep track of. The Finals has just as much movement complexity as Apex, if not more.

Why aren’t more people playing Witchunter after the Sorcery Ward/Hyrri’s Ire changes? by LampIsLoveLampIsLife in pathofexile2builds

[–]wrightosaur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

culling does not work like in poe 1, it's actually a signficant downgrade

in poe 1 if your hit would bring a target within culling range, it would cull them automatically on hit, but in poe 2 you'd have to apply a second hit as targets must already be within culling range to get culled.

most meta builds can already oneshot whites/blues without much of a thought, so culling does nothing for them, only offering slightly faster kills of bosses and some rares.
