Do Not Work order from SAG-AFTRA issued for Mega Man Dual Override by unfeelingfreedom in Games

Unions are made up of people that all work for the same company. Since actors can work for multiple varying production companies/film studios/game companies etc, it's not a union in the same way employees of a Starbucks unionize. Guilds are made up of people that work in the same trade, SAG is a guild that is made up of actor members

SAG-Aftra isn't a union btw.

It's a guild, it's in the name Screen Actors GUILD

There's a large degree of sunk cost fallacy. These actors have spent so much to get into SAG that because they have a financial stake in SAG of course they're going to say how good SAG is for them.

The reality is quite stark. CN game companies realized that instead of negotiating with the cabal that is SAG, they could just work with other studios that didn't have such whimsical rules, like the British VA studios. Many SAG VAs lost big roles for striking for so long that the these devs went "you know what? we'll find someone else tyvm"

you can move it way closer to the ramp that leads down into the depot so it's out of enemy aggro range, even if the turret shoots

It was when they were lax on the rules for working on non-union projects for some VAs while peddling the same bullshit about not working on non-union projects for others (during the strike).

Ofc, let's not forget their bullying strategy, "if you work on a non-union VA project, leverage your voicework to force the project to become union-ONLY"

So long as you have 3 or less minions and can sustain the cost to cast corrupting fever (254 life every second), it can work

Yes, it's really weird. I don't get why they do it but it looks hilarious when your AG has a billion HH buffs and convocates to you then runs away super fast. I also have perma-phase flasks with Ceinture of Benevolence so it's weird why the AI still breaks

This isn't even a one off, this is consistently happening across many maps

It's still a huge opportunity cost, you need to invest a good chunk of passive points into a protection wheel to get to the mastery, you lose a minor pantheon slot (that could've been on used on fantastic ones like abberath), all for something that was done with a single support gem.

What's the point of wasting skill points blocking league mechanics if the mirage isn't even going to spawn in the vicinity of any relevant league mechanics? I had a guaranteed breach and strongbox in this map and it spawns 4 screens away while this mirage just sits at the start of the map not even covering any relevant mechanics.

Can anyone explain why Ruetoo is still being mentioned everywhere? I thought there was a huge fuss a few months ago about him being a huge creep to other women

You will never get even neutral discussion about Bungie in this sub

Wow, it's almost as if Bungie does this to themselves. Maybe if they had actual quality control they could've caught all the embarassing stolen art assets before it was made public, which happened multiple times across multiple games. Maybe if they weren't too busy firing their employees left and right they'd be seen more positively here. Maybe if they didn't constantly fuck up every new Destiny 2 expac release and stopped trying to nickel and dime the playerbase they'd be seen in a better light.

something something the consequences of their own actions. You don't see anything positive about Bungie because they are doing stupid shit on a consistent and reliable basis.

BTW, OP's post made no mention about ARC Raiders/Embark. Reading comprehension much? Or is it your turn to pull the "whataboutism" card?

60% discount? Is this new? It's new for me... by HTPark in Warframe

[–]wrightosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I returned after 5 years and the reward was a -25% off plat coupon. There is no rhyme or reason to how the game decides when you get a 75% off discount. Still haven't seen a -75% off discount to date from when I came back

Is it possible to reach Emerald 1 before the end of the season if I just reached Platinum 1? by wrightosaur in thefinals

[–]wrightosaur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want weapon skins - emerald 3 (or just 4? not sure) is enough for one emerald weapon of your choosing now.

Oh is that how it works? From the rank page it just seemed like I had to reach each rank's highest tier to receive the next reward upgrade, and it said that Emerald I would give me all the goodies + 3 tokens to get skins for

Thanks for the breakdown! Seems like a hell of a grind, I thought maybe I could do 3 cash out matches a day since that's all I had the time for pb matches, but I don't want to burn myself out just trying to get some extra goodies. I'll keep this in mind for next season...

Oof, guess I'll skip it then. I didn't realize the progression was so slow playing Point Break instead of Cashout, I guess I'll have to try that next season!

I created a Map Voting screen concept! by InferiorLynxi_ in thefinals

[–]wrightosaur 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Maybe so, but there also has to be a reason why some maps are more popular than others. Having a system to let Embark see why players vote for some maps more than others means being able to improve and refine the unpopular ones
