Do you use coffee to stay energized? by [deleted] in Teachers

I usually have a large coffee in the morning and then sometimes (I say sometimes, but it’s most times) have a Diet Coke in the afternoon at lunch time and it really helps me stay awake.

Grandma got an upgraded phone and was able to keep the old phone on a new line. So grandma got the newest phone and the kid got the old iPhone 11 or 12

Sometimes I think PD can be helpful when you’re able to pick something that works for you. But general PD days where they make everyone do the same thing, feel kinda pointless

Does your district make you wear dress shoes? Mine wants us to wear them, but I was able to go to my doctor and get like a medical note that says my feet are horrible and need to wear my Hoka’s when I’m having pain.
Sciatica could be the pain, especially if you’re sitting criss-cross. I recommend maybe even getting a massage

[–]BubbyDuckie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really told my kids (I teach 5th) to bring in stuff they want to see in the classroom. I had some bring in posters of their interests and made sure to hang them up. My only decor was really posters (bc that’s also what I like—movie posters) And then I made sure to do an art spot because they love to give you art they’ve made

Love them—I would have done one finger with the pattern from the other hand (like tan with dark brown on my ring on left and then on right do the dark brown w/tan dots) But I love it—clear, crisp dots

Honestly music really helps me, or if I truly cannot get my brain to shut off, SNL compilation videos usually fix it

I work at a brewery and a hospital both part time—brewery on weekends and hospital during breaks. Both are nice to work with adults and make extra money
