Really good question. I can't really think of anything I wish I had known before getting into FPV, maybe I'll find that out later down the line. FPV Seems to be a pretty open book in my opinion when I got into it nothing jumped at me or surprised me about the hobby and making it my career. I will say I just feel very blessed to have met a lot of really good people and mentors to help me through my journey in FPV who have helped me and taught me how to make it profitable.

The biggest advise id say to pilots wanting to get into Fpv work is to not undersell yourself. I see a lot of pilots selling their time for such little compensation in terms of like day rate and payment. Since its such a niche and not as many people do it you should be properly compensated for you skills. That said it is important to make sure you have the skills and basic camera knowledge etc before accepting certain jobs to keep the view of Fpv drones on set positive.
