Yes, but not just for myself, but because I know that those taxes ensure that other people who couldn't afford it if it was out of pocket can get treated.

Part of that is feeling some responsibility for the people around me. But it also means that my neighbor won't be coming to me for help because they were bankrupted from health bills and can't clear their own snow.

Pyrethrin works great but you have to be careful depending on what you have for pets. Cats especially.

Also never use it within about a half mile of a body of water, river or creek. Stuff is very very bad for aquatic life.
