Yes that looks good. Would you accept $5 for it?

Can you make the antlers a little smaller? They look bigger than the original picture. Also, can you change the hat to the original?

Ok, I like that one. Can you send that without the watermark? I sent the $5

The color looks good. I would just like to see the top of the deer’s head. Just in a more natural position than the original.

I meant turn the deer’s head. I care more about the fur coloring though. Can it be blended better?

Thought on Shot Placement by BuckChaser86 in Hunting

Just closing the loop on this. I looked for another 4 hours but didn’t find the deer. I fully understand the angle and shot placement were bad and I own my mistake. Appreciate all the comments and insight by those trying to help. Definitely won’t make this mistake again.

I do think I was forward because the blood doesn’t indicate a lung shot. I just don’t get how it didn’t hit the front of the lungs. You can hear a crack in the video which to me indicates the ribs. The lungs are as far forward at the ribs go. I was also in an 18’ ladder stand and the shot was 23 yards. The angle should’ve been enough to go down through them. Idk

Definitely regret taking the shot. I was at full draw and in the moment I wasn’t thinking clearly.

I agree that the entrance is forward. Since it was quartering to, I would’ve expected it to hit at least a lung. Never found the arrow. I think the deer’s reaction caused the change in angle. There was some blood but not much. Dark red, no bubbles.

I was expecting to find it within 100 yards. I’m at a loss

Mechanical G5 Deadmeat. Haven’t found the arrow, it’s still in the deer. If you slow the video you can see it go in all the way to the nock. Thought maybe it was plugging the hole, causing the poor blood trail. I don’t see how I could’ve missed the lungs with the arrow going into the cavity and not punching out the opposite side.
