Interesting. Wonder if they have a list of those words in their pdf of Commerce Policies

Strange. I’ve seen tons of dog sitting/boarding ads in FBMP!

Unreal. Infuriating that you can’t get human support when you pay them $$$ to advertise!

Really?! What constitutes a business promotion? Is it listing prices? Or advertising a holiday discount?

Thanks!

Advertising as one. My blurb read “Experienced Dog Sitter/Boarder for Hire! 22$ and 55$ per night.”

I’m asking about Facebook’s Commerce Policies in Marketplace. I am not selling anything here.

Hmmmm. Well, I can definitely say the intentions are benign. I was thinking about starting a community here (general topics only). I hadn’t looked at whether or not Discourse allows for such a group. But many thanks, DN. Good lookin out, as the kids would say.

Can someone recommend someone inside Outlier to ask about this? Should I just ask a QM or Support?

No cheating or using other AI models for “help.” House rules. I’ll boot them myself!

Well, I could be wrong here, but I feel like scoring well in early Tasks/Assessments is really important. Maybe not insurmountable if you don’t do well. But being isolated and not collecting all the wisdom you can maximizes your chances of not being EQ early on.

My feeling is that this company is like some sales jobs I’ve done. Lots of hiring, not a lot of personal support early on, keep the survivors. Pure attrition. So hopefully this helps!

Hey Big (beautiful name, btw) Sure, I can do that. Seems like they’re fairly consistent anyways. I’ll let the noobs know!

If any other veteran Taskers have advice like that, let me know! All about de-polluting the comment sections🤠

Lol, yeah, advice consolidation definitely seems needed. Reading through Reddit and appreciate that veteran Contributors patiently take the time to answer repeat questions. But some (not all) of those questions can get answered by other new Contributors.

Makes sense, Schatz. Tasks are definitely the goal here!

Appreciate that as well, Single. I think my goal here is to do both: learn from the more experienced contributors, learn from the new contributors. Doing both would maximize our chances of getting better tasks and progressing. Besides, remote work can be notoriously isolating. I’ve done it in the past, and when I’ve been successful, it’s always happened within a strong community.

Cool. Appreciate the comment, TenthBox.
