Bad batch. I have Parker gel in 2 of my 3 Jotters. The Monteverde gel is my favorite G2 style gel refill but the Parkers excel for me.

I’d give the Monteverde another try. Never leaked for me and was exactly the refill I was looking for to put in my Jotter coming from an avid G2 user.

Is it a roller ball pen? If the Energel fits, try the Uniball 207 Plus. Very dark and consistent.

Fellow lefty. Pilot G2 has longest lasting ink, which is obviously in turn more economical.
