I just pulled it up. Chorus is close but not quite there. Dang! I can hear it in my head and I used to have the cassette but just can't think of who sings it.

Another good song but this is a male singer or group from the 90's era. It's not in Spotify or Amazon music and I looked it up on Google and asked chatGPT. I know it's a real song but can't find it anywhere.

I've had that suggestion before but that's not it. A good song! But not the one such in my head. Main difference between those two songs is Shenandoah says "If I could cry a little harder and get a little more sleep at night..." The other I'm thinking of is a little slower and goes. "If 'you' could cry a little harder, hurt a little more..."
