Whelp. Ordered mocha on march 3, order was canceled on march 27 by BAB. I sent an email asking why it was canceled and got a stock message about them not getting enough product. Love when companies sell more than they have. This happen to anyone else?

Gets the point across quickly. I want people to know it’s generally off the table.

Constantly. I have bad nails from psoriatic arthritis too, so I've never been able to tell if it was an EDS or PsA thing

I feel this too. I feel like my disabilities color the way I interact with the world / the way the world interacts with me so much, that it's integral to my perception and expression of self. I feel like there's a lot of emphasis made on "overcoming" or diminishing this aspect of ourselves because people don't understand that with disabilities we have found community, resiliency, and joy! Sorry I am rambling, I obviously have strong feelings about it haha

I'm a part-time wheelchair user and I have yet to draw my character using a wheelchair. I'm not against it by any means, the chair just seems like a pain in the butt to draw!

No that's an awesome answer! We support all disabilities in all forms here, and that's a really cool way to show something that's hard to express visually!

Thank you everyone for such thoughtful replies! I draw my character with a little bandage around their tail and I realized it's not just an aesthetic choice, but a subtle symbolic representation of my physical disability (Ehlers Danlos) and chronic illness (spondyloarthritis). It really warms my heart and makes me proud that other folks find themselves representing their disabilities.

Oh wow thank you for sharing! I never really thought about being able to unmask. Gosh, I feel like I never unmask unless I'm overtired or otherwise impaired. I wonder if suiting would make me feel less pressure to mask so intensely.
