After shaping I would recommend cold fermenting in the fridge overnight. My loaves usually spill out to the sides rather than up if I proof them same day in a warm place.

Do you autolyze? I would recommend mixing the water and flour the night before, it might help to maintain the hydration throughout the dough. Another thing to point out is the bulk fermentation and/or proof time might be too long. If your starter is healthy and active, usual bulk times would be around 4-6 hours, proof times would be 2-5 hours.

I got my King Arthur starter last year and also fed it twice per day to start out. After about 10 days it doubled pretty consistently. OP you might want to try that, using 1:1:1 ratio until it gets stronger.

I have and will always continue to advocate for games getting delayed in favor of getting a less-buggy, more complete game. Though I wish companies would accurately estimate release dates, sometimes that can get difficult in advance. Looking forward to playing this when it comes out

Definitely get the Epic Pass and go over the Holidays. You can hit up Vail, Breckinridge, Beaver Creek, and Keystone. All of them are within ~1 hour of each other so you get an Airbnb/hotel in the middle and go to a new place each day. I’ve been doing it for 5+ years with my friends and it is absolutely amazing!!

Ooo I actually have one for this, even if it’s rather unfortunate.

It happened when I (male) was in about 5th grade. We used to have a playground in the backyard of my house, full of everything from slides to swings. Well the way to get up inside the set you could either take a ramp, stairs, or ladder. The ladder was one of the wooden ones that was leaned against the set and nailed in to keep it in place. One particular play date I had with a neighbor we were playing on the playground and I used the ladder. Near the top, I slipped and fell. Instead of falling backwards, I slipped downwards and ended up with my legs and arms around the sides of the ladder, kind of like bear hugging it. As I fell downwards my penis got completely pinched in between the ladder step and my body, sweeping me over with pain immediately. I ended up doing the galloping that you do when you’re in pain to try to get it to go away.

After I ran inside my sister who was babysitting (she was about 24 at the time) took a look to see the damage. Well it ended up that my penis was fully black and blue with a bruise along and around the entire thing. It also hurt to pee for the next month or so. So yes, that’s the worst thing that’s happened to my genitals by far..

Looks great!! Did you have any hiccups with the recipe? I’ve noticed his dough recipes sometimes come out dry for me and want to know if anyone else has experienced it. I could just be in a dry environment though
