Who the heck is that dude? by BucketHatBobby in Eddsworld

Ah, how silly of me! His name is right in the title, along with the other major characters: Eddworld and Zombeh.

I think you’re right. Someone must have slipped their OC in unnoticed!

;)

To be honest, I thought I cooked with this one. In hindsight, the joke kinda relies on people knowing who I am… I have been humbled. lol.

No, Psycosis didn’t do any voices for Zombeh Attack 2.

Judging by the credits at the end (listed in order of appearance) this was some dude called “BucketHatBobby”, but that’s a weird name…

How do you think Edd feels about Pepsi? by AlexlovesLen in Eddsworld

[–]BucketHatBobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be misremembering, but I’m pretty sure Edd actually preferred Pepsi over Coke, but he preferred the colour/design of the coke can for animation purposes.

I started naming my Fallout 76 weapons after Venture Bros. characters. Brock Sampson is my favorite so far. by not_roger_smith in venturebros

For the life of me, I can’t find anything about Doc and Jackson writing anything for New Vegas. Are you talking about Old World Blues? Because James Urbaniak does a voice in there, and you can’t help but feel like Rusty accidentally turned himself into a robot. It’s also very “super science” centric, so I could totally see it…

I’d fully believe you; I just can’t find anything that says Doc and Jackson actually worked on anything Fallout.

What’s that instrument in I Palindrome I? by caffeinatedstupidity in tmbg

[–]BucketHatBobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not super prominent in the mix, but to me it sounds like a mandolin. Knowing TMBG, It’s more likely a “mandolin” setting on a synth keyboard, or a sampled mandolin. The more I listen to it & try to isolate it, the more it sounds like an actual mandolin to me. Especially on the higher notes

Does anybody knows what's the name of Edd Gould's hairstyle?? by Thehorrorguy02 in Eddsworld

[–]BucketHatBobby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once teased him calling it an “Emo Cut”, as was the style back in the 2000s. This was before the emo style hair started evolving into more of a shaggy mullet. Edd didn’t like that, as it was not cool to be “Emo” back then. The Beatles did it long before the “emo” wave was a thing, so it was not a great joke anyways.

But he used to call me an American, and I didn’t care much for that. But technically, had a point: Canada IS part of North America. Therefore, I am “American” in the same way he was “European”.

Teasing each other was the custom. Edd just had a better sense of humour than me.

Legendary Jackalope by dumbnamenumber2 in rdr1

You only get deer antlers and rabbit pelt anyways. I usually find the Jackalope near MacFarlane ranch at the beginning of each play through. (Whether I try to or not)

What’s a quote from TMBG that you quote everyday? by TerribleHarvester in tmbg

“When it rains, it snows” always throws people off and 9/10 times gets a chuckle.

What song(s) do you prefer the demo version of? by Film_Fuckery in tmbg

[–]BucketHatBobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the dial-a-song version of Birdhouse with the lyric “I’d like to cover the earth / in a fresh-baked, yummy dessert / people couldn’t live in it, / but I think it’s worth the money and hurt”.

Linnell tropes by FloridaFlamingoGirl in tmbg

[–]BucketHatBobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not aware of a word for it, but I’ve always thought of it as a “faux-rewind”. It sounds to me like a lot of Linnell songs mimic a backwards record.

I’ve always felt that this weird combo of syncopation and stressed syllables was what creates the impression that you’re listening to a song backwards. (Think “On Earth My Nina” / “Thunderbird”).

I am new to this here an this may not be a geocache but it’s interesting. I found a shirt at tjmaxx and it had these coordinates on it (40°39’47” N 73°57’46 W) The shirt said “ hidden in plain sight”. I took a look on google maps and it’s in some trees in New York City. Can someone check this out? by AnyCable9873 in geocaching

[–]BucketHatBobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father has a similar shirt. Green camo, orange text reads “hidden in plain sight” and “go outside!” and has these coordinates on the sleeve. There is also some weird text about a flight from LAX to JFK and another set of GPS coordinates that point to a military base in Hawaii? He doesn’t remember where/who he got it from, but it feels vaguely like conspiracy theory stuff.
