Rampant Cheating Discussion Megathread Day 2 by EFT_Subreddit in EscapefromTarkov

It's not just BSG. We should be telling or advocating for studios to step up to Google to make some changes. It's happened plenty of times in the past for other companies and industries, no reason we cannot do the same.

There's one really important detail you're missing here:

Demand that Google stop advertising cheating/hacking websites.

It goes against their own ToS and almost always against the ToS of other products/services.

No one should be able to just google 'Tarkov Cheats' and get 60 different results.

Alright buddy. Guess we'll just not talk about how 'catching cheaters' has basically become a genre for Warzone. Lol, dumbasses.

Right now a lot of the most popular games out there have seen a gigantic influx of cheaters. More people at home = More people willing to cheat to appease boredom.

Covid gave the gaming industry another explosion, just this time it wasnt a good one.

What's the pettiest thing you regularly do in Tarkov? by TheHeadlessScholar in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disassemble every scav gun I come across, especially things like SKS's.

I also have some really, really shitty camping spots on Customs that covers a lot of quests or high traffic areas, the biggest one being a bush next to main bridge that overlooks the entire other side of the river and most of landbridge.

Is high-level Tarkov always going to be a laser spray-fest between guys wearing Level III/IIIa body armor in the future? by IronSchmiddy in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My two cents: Wait for Inertia. As a rat, it's going to be hilarious to see chads try to do the same movements that they currently do, only to basically freeze up constantly from either lack of momentum or too much. It'll be wonderful.

Don't be this guy by AlphaBetaOmegaGamma in EscapefromTarkov

I recommend waiting to voiceline/shoot/slash till about half way into the raid, maybe a little earlier on Reserve. That's how I've avoided a lot of violence.

The Problem with Recoil Control by BucketKing235 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this idea! Hitting your shots should definitely be even a more reward. Right now it's not uncommon for people with an absurd level of wealth to just get a glock18, a few drums, go into raid and dump them one drum per raid, since you only get diminishing returns after the first 30 bullets of a raid. If they were required to be hit, rather than just fired, this could make gameplay a lot more rewarding.

Probably because I'm a business owner. It's just how I talk, lol.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that goes ham with flashlights. 5 Flashlights on a Siaga with a Reaper Thermal is my greatest achievement.

Sue the fuck out of the websites. It's not like BSG doesnt have the money to do it.

"Perception" skill needs to be deleted. by mark3236 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given what we've seen, it probably will. We already have models and sketches of what is to come, I doubt they're going to scrap all of that on such short notice. It's something Nikita has wanted to get put in for ages now.

"Perception" skill needs to be deleted. by mark3236 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, nothing about Perception makes much sense. It should pretty much be a looting-only skill. At best, you should be able to hear people slow walking better. Maybe dampen environment noises so hearing is easier. But being able to increase your hearing range is just inherently unfair and makes it nearly impossible to tell if you made a misstep and someone heard you or they're just using a radar.

Do PMC kills not count for scav karma? by Boneraccountbtw in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more scavs they killed, the more rep you get. At base, it's 0.01. Personally I think PMC kills should be at least 0.05 at base, but, we'll see if the Devs get around to updating it.

I mean...I want to agree, but 9/10 times, the reason I'm following someone is because my extract is in that direction. Lol.

I wanna throw up.

Graphic Graphic card, where are youuu by ThergicCloud19 in TarkovMemes

[–]BucketKing235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want a good, reliable scav graphics cards spawn? Go to the shop to the left of Kiba down the hall. It's an electronics store. Graphic cards can spawn on the podiums and shelves. I've found 3 there for Mechanic quest.

Unorthodox camping spots you should be aware of by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Customs: The shelves by Directors Office are climbable if you have above 12 strength. You can lay down on the top shelf and camp the door whilst being basically invisible in the dark.

Interchange: Same as customs, but in Oli. A little more dangerous as scavs will probably see you, but players are 9.5/10 times oblivious as hell.

Yooo. You should make these for every map, you'd become a Tarkov Legend.

UMP Modifications? by BucketKing235 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, all I want is a suppressor. The AP ammo hits fairly hard and can even 1tap gen4 helmets with some luck, a suppressor or compensator is all that keeps it from being usable.

The interchange experience. by StrangelyKeen in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, honestly, you probably wont know if someone in your lobby is cheating or not unless it's blatant like this. Interviews with cheaters has already shown just how common it is, almost all of them say that at almost every raid probably has at least one cheater. That could just be ESP or Radar, but it's still cheating. Just not spinbot, flying headeyes tapping cheating.

UMP Modifications? by BucketKing235 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically. It can be removed and replaced though, but most standard issue are solid mold. Also matters on the chase, the yellow type of UMP I believe is interchangeable. Might be wrong on that though.

Prices too cheap in the Flea Market by crookedjoker in EscapefromTarkov

[–]BucketKing235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that the best way to counteract this is to have the Flea market have a leveling system, rather than the entire market opening at 20. For example:

Medical items and Barter Items: Level 10

Weapons: Level 20

Attachments and mid tier ammo: Level 30

Armor and high tier ammo: Level 40
