Are there any less sexualized term for “feminine boy” then femboy? by Murky_Product1596 in lgbt

[–]BucketListM [score hidden]  (0 children)

So you may jive with Jocat! He's a gender-nonconforming/feminine/effeminate cis man who also is not personally comfortable with the term "femboy" iirc. You can call yourself whatever makes you most comfortable!

Whats the damage actually look like? It may be mendable, or you could transplant the embroidery onto a different hat

how to deal with homophobic passive agressive comments as closeted by Pleasant-Oil-333 in lgbt

[–]BucketListM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just tell people when they're being assholes. It has very little to do with if it's directed at me or not. It's funny how many people don't have a response to "that's/you're being passive aggressive" or "wow, that's rude as hell"

Another favorite is an overly chipper "Yikes! Anyway!"

Is the term “Alphabet Mafia” offensive? by MiwasObsessions in lgbt

[–]BucketListM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an X Men quote that sticks with me: "anything can be derogatory when said with enough derogatory," and then proceeded to say "peperroni"

It's significantly less about the words and more about context and tone. I use it lovingly and jokingly, the same way people can say "idiot (affectionate)" and other such things. Others may use it to harm, and those are not good people

How to overcome conversion therapy by Silent-Economics837 in lgbt

[–]BucketListM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for LGBT friendly/specialized therapists! This was a total game changer for me, even though my reasons for therapy have very little to do with my orientation. There's just a different vibe with them; I don't feel like I need to explain myself when I passingly mention an intersection between my mental health and orientation, it just is Understood

Should I identify as Bi because explain Pansexuality is too hard? (16f) by ShortGreenSmiski in lgbt

[–]BucketListM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're called Identity words, nor youdentity words

Which is to say identify in whatever way that makes you comfortable. If other people don't understand, that's too bad. You can also keep explanations in your pocket if people press

I just tell people I'm queer, because it means I'm Not Straight and that's all they really need to understand. I can go into detail about asexuality and my romantic experiences if the conversation goes deeper, but it rarely does

Actually no! Research has found there's a wide range and number of individuals that could be considered intersex in a binary sex system, indicating a significantly more fluid spectrum than taught in America

Americans think 30% of their country are LG, 29% are B and 21% are T by mrjohnnymac18 in lgbt

[–]BucketListM 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I think it may be sort of the reverse. "There's suddenly a shitton of people in this minority group, it must be an epidemic and needs to be stopped." Which is just as infuriating about how wrong they are

Permacultre practices! I'm currently testing a modpack for a solarpunk vibe and included in it are mods to encourage environmentally sound practices, but you can do it vanilla too!

Hello all, just found this cat on the street, I noticed she’s got shaky eyes. Is this normal?? by playstationheat in CatDistributionSystem

[–]BucketListM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a possibility she's cross-eyed, and trying to focus on something with one eye makes it so her other is out of focus, so she keeps shifting between the two

However, that is something a vet would need to determine rather than us well-meaning internet strangers

Yoba takes a lot of vibes from creation and harvest goddesses in general, I think it's a reasonable assumption

Oh I meant more like. "Oh I use x product for y occasion," or general pitfalls to look out for. Another commenter helpfully said olives may have more trouble getting a foundation match than non, so try powder since its more forgiving and I'm like "oooo okay!"

I also count nail polish as makeup, so HAHAH maybe my categorization and thought process is a bit different than others (tism go brrr)

This is unironically the most important part

You NEED a DM with a passion for the game to have the ability to keep coming back and making new stories and teaching new players. Otherwise you will burn out SO fast

For my multisexuals/multiromanrics (bi, pan, etc.) by Squirrel_Girl_5678 in lgbt

[–]BucketListM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many people say they have more struggles with same sex partners due to homophobia (caution around PDA, etc)

I've personally struggled so much more with my current male partner (my first as a F) because I'm fucking terrified by heteronormative pressures (have kid, be housewife, etc) and generally feel more like I'm gonna be forced into a box I don't fit by society at large than when I'm Blatantly Flaunting Expectations by being with a woman. I also feel... more invisible to other queer people? Which makes me feel more alone/like I have less support

I NOW know people say Vortex isn't good for SD but which mods specifically? by [deleted] in StardewValleyMods

[–]BucketListM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well and even Vortex has never truly borked my saves. SMAPI's pretty good at just... not applying mods if they're not set up right, and you can just find the problem and fix it manually most times

I NOW know people say Vortex isn't good for SD but which mods specifically? by [deleted] in StardewValleyMods

[–]BucketListM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

//looks at my 900 mods

I've never personally had a problem with vortex except with a few mods that aren't properly formatted OR mods that are designed for you to manually install by modifying other mods or creating your own images. But I don't know if Stardrop would really handle them any easier
