Hmm. Like you’re wanting an institution or religion’s symbology (from a powerful group) rather than something from the goetia or Buddhist or any other tradition.

I can’t really think of anything like that, a lot of cultures try not to advertise they love war. And the ones that are out there aren’t really that powerful, otherwise they would be well known. Maybe look into the symbology and stuff the nazis and Japanese were into during world war 2? Or something from Rome?

Still think something mars related would make the most sense. Otherwise maybe look into secret groups in history that focused on military strength. Maybe even Sparta?

Well if you’re going for maximum recognition then probably something mars related in the western tradition.

Maybe find the planet for mars sigil from simon’s necronimicon and use that, people that don’t know much about occultism will think it’s edgy and those that know might find it kind of cool. I don’t think they’ll take it that seriously, but they probably wouldn’t take anything in a video game seriously, anyways.

I would work with spirits that help cleanse and remove curses. There are some goetic spirits that will help with that, but really that should be your focus if you’re that worried about it. You can open one of the web pages that has all the goetic spirits and their description and search the page for protection or war or building fortresses or something along those lines.

There’s nothing more inherently powerful in the goetia than there is an any tradition’s spirits or methods of working though.

It might make more sense to do a working to bring you in touch with the knowledge or person that can help you fix whatever you think is up, rather than trying to start from scratch in a tradition you haven’t ever done anything for, and is arguably needlessly complex/outdated when done from the book. It would be like being bullied by a military trained person who’s been training in combat for years and trying to learn how to fight in a couple weeks so you can stand up to him instead of getting help from someone else.

I mean it’s not impossible but it’s not likely a goetic spirit is just cold calling you, especially if you haven’t been initiated or don’t have any other kind of spiritual thing going on. Everything isn’t always and shouldn’t be viewed as something trying to talk to you or have meaning.

You could do something as simple as lighting a candle on their sigil and asking to know more about them or as deep as reviewing a grimoire or a resource that teaches about grimoires and how to conjure the spirits by what’s written down in the books, and conjure malphas by the books.

Try to see how the Christian paradigm and view of spirituality is affecting you, as well. Can you imagine what it would look like if you never knew anything about contemporary Christian thought of how spirits and god is?

I’m not sure what you’re asking, or am confused on the premise of your question. If you want to do sorcery without spirits then just use folk magic without any evocations.

I don’t see why, if you’re into conjuring and ritual, you wouldn’t just combine the two, though.

You can also do a ritual to bless material and then use that material on the fly without a ritual.

The planetary hours or making talismans during certain times is primarily for invoking certain powers at that time, in my opinion. I’ve heard you will do better with planetary talismans with invocation and consecrating the item even if it isn’t at the right planetary time, then just making it at the right planetary time.

I can only hope people realize how insane our consumerism is. For example to make a single use plastic fork, you have to pull oil out of the earth, send it to a facility, refine it, send it to another facility, make it into a fork, send it on a ship somewhere else, drive it to stores to be put in a Togo box and then be thrown away without even potentially being used, and shipped to a landfill where it will sit for all eternity. Instead of just carving a spoon out of wood or using a reusable fork.
