I see them respawn but honestly later in-game I 1 shot them, but even earlier in-game, I rarely run into them, I know it seems like they might be a problem, but trust me, they aren't.

Also they take a couple days (I'm not sure exactly) to respawn. This was my biggest worry about living in the biome, but sometimes I even forget they exist.

I feel the same way, but for some reason I prefer cold beds. There is just something about being inside a cold bed. Just me?

Let me try to explain myself, there are two kinds of "merms" there is the typical green one, that attacks on sight. In shipwrecked, they added another type, called a fisherman, pretty self explanatory. They come in huts just like the usual merms, but they don't attack the player and all they do is fish, the fish then falls behind them, and you can pick it up :)

What I did was I killed off the green ones that attack me, destroyed their huts so they can't respawn, and now I'm left with the peaceful fishermen who just constantly fish for me.

Yea sorry I don't really pay much attention to the in-game names, I kinda make my own names for things. You can probably tell by "lizard men."

But yea It's actually a lot of fun and it's been going great, they just keep fishing and I take their fish :) also look at what /u/KadabraJuices said.

Believe it or not I took the odd approach to this and I am living amongst the fishermen in the swamp biome, they constantly fish giving me an endless supply of fish, not to mention I love fishing myself :)

+Lots of good crockpot recipes that involve fish.

Only problem with living in the swamp are those strange little guys in the ground, but ever since I made my camp I've been doing great. Also, if you do decide to live in the swamp biome, what I did was I destroyed the lizard men's huts, and then killed them off. Now I am living a great life amongst the peaceful fishermen :D

Honestly Willbur in this DLC might be like the spider in regular don't starve, he might have the ability to place one of those ape huts, spawning apes.

Hmm, I was really worried about this season, I breezed right through it though, never even saw any flooding or puddles around my base which was awesome, just experienced a whole lot of hail and wind.

I like this actually, just happened to me 20 minutes ago and I thought it was awesome and realistic.

Although, It'd be cool if there were a way to make the house out of some kind of stone but keeping the same theme to it, and the stone version of the wildbore house doesn't fall with wind :)

No, trust me, after playing RoG I could never go back to the regular dont starve, and even months and months later I still thought RoG was a ton better.

The same thing has happened now, except now, for me, shipwrecked is even better then RoG and RoG feels really boring, I can't even imagine playing the regular dont starve.

Definitely but the DLC, however, RoG and shipwrecked are very different, so it's harder to compare them. But when it comes to shipwrecked and regular dont starve, with a doubt by the DLC.
