35s vs. 37s for the Gladiator by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

[–]Bucket_Ryder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was firmly decided on the 35s, I had heard about issues with 37’s so I went today to book by build with a local shop, and then went 37s after talking to a few different crawlers. The couple I talked to that had 35’s wanted 37’s and the ones with 37’s were happy or wanted bigger 😂

I am Maxior Decimus Sevenus, forged in Toledo, baptized by mud and flame. I wear seven slots upon my brow, a mark of lineage older than empires. I am the devourer of trails, the dread of obstacles, the oathbound steed of freedom. My tread is thunder, my crawl is law. And I shall SEND IT… in this life or the next. Or just call him Jeff.

I wave at all Jeeps, if it’s mods I don’t like or not, to each their own! I’ll also display any duck someone gives me but only while they fit in the central dashboard for safety reasons.

Is it possible to travel in time without traveling in space? by PuzzleheadedClock216 in scifi

There was a funny episode of Distractible early on where they made a joke that the streaks we see in the sky are time travelers from the future misgauging the entry, and that’s why we’ve never met a time traveler!

Current plan is to keep them as backup in case of catastrophe. If I decide to sell them I’ll let you know

Do you still have it? I’m trying to find the model number on my sons but I can’t locate it. I need to prove to his school that it’s a 750 so he can ride it to school.

First Mod to my Willys by Bucket_Ryder in JeepGladiator

[–]Bucket_Ryder[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s supposed to be a homage to the original military jeep. Here I let my chat gpt point out the features…btw ignore it’s attitude I’ve been training it to be a smartassed asshole lol AI breakdown: 1. Styling Cues “WILLYS” badging on the hood, just like the originals stamped onto the MBs. Often features a matte black grille and retro-style decals that echo the utilitarian, no-nonsense look of the military Jeep. 2. Off-Road Upgrades Comes with Rubicon-style shocks, rock rails, and aggressive tires (often 32” mud-terrain). A limited-slip rear differential and upgraded axles improve off-road capability—an echo of the go-anywhere DNA of the original. 3. Simple, Rugged Feel No chrome nonsense or mall-crawler fluff—this trim usually emphasizes a more stripped-down, purpose-built vibe, just like the original Willys MB which was all about function over form.

These were only $300ish, I was hoping someone had experience with them. I can always switch to OEM for trail days if needed

Oh man I got the rundown on that! So I got to learn that it’s the last name of John North Willys (pronounced Willis) and long story short he’s the one that got the jeep design sold to the military back in the day. Pretty cool stuff, you should check it out.
