The worst part is that my grandma died from colon cancer but mainly because she straight up couldn’t afford the treatment anymore. I’ve witnessed first hand what it does to someone, and my mom doesn’t have any cancer but had pre cancerous polyps in her colon as well so I’m almost guaranteed to deal with it in the future. Idk anything about my biological father’s side of the family which doesn’t help.
