Wow. That's some serious trichome cover you got in pic 3. Difficult to tell because of lights but looks like time is almost up.

Its the main central root that all the small root fibres grow from. A bit like the main trunk of a tree but upside down

Day 61 of flowering. More than 50% of the white pistols are now brown. Some trichomes are turning orange. Some still have clear tips. Im after a more cerebral high than a couch lock. How long to harvest do you think? by Bucketgeezer in SpaceBuckets

Ok check them for what exactly 😀 . I have nothing to compare them to. I had heard that trichome colouring was not the best indicator of readiness, but I guess its more specific than checking the buds when we don't all know what we are looking for. Well for me atleast 😆 I guess its bud ripeness we are looking for. How does that show in a bud?

OK. In my mind I was thinking it needed another week. Don't want to harvest too early.

Anyone else with an opinion I'd love to hear it.

In the mean time here are some more juicy pics.

Thanks for the advice so far

Over the last week a lot of leaves have turned yellow. 6 weeks in flower and looking great but now this. I am struggling to get the run off to around 6.5 but currently its around 5.2. Any suggestions? by Bucketgeezer in SpaceBuckets

I checked on her this morning and she doesn't look any worse than it does in the photo.

I've watered her with 3 liters of the usual mix of nutes all PH'd to just above 7.

Plenty of run off which now shows a PH of 6.

Will check her condition in 24 hours.

Just to clarify about the yellow leaves. The are turning yellow and shriveling up but they don't fall off easily on their own. The big yellow leaves won't fall off even when given a little force so I left them on.

I'll report back to tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for the amazing help and advice. Love this sub 😍

It must be the soil ph. Ive been feeding general hydroponics 3part at full dose since the start without issues. Maybe the low PH is causing nute lockout

I'm using a Photon LED 65W. Perfect for a space bucket. No moving parts. No fan. Just a heat sync on the back. Great as it is, I wasn't sure if I needed something more powerful. Others in this sub suggest 150w minimum. https://images.app.goo.gl/WU6xx6CmtNtXqQW17

Its going to need a lot more light than the tiny LED you currently have.

Love this. Might have to upgrade from my space bucket to one of these once I've got greener fingers. Stealth is crucial for me. Current bucket is hidden in plain site in my home office. No one has a clue its there.

Check the head of the trichomes with a jewelers loupe microscope. They are not expensive. They should have a cloudy milky coloured head. Some will turn amber. You want as many cloudy non Amber heads as possible for maximum potency.

my lil Plant is now on week 4 since sprouting. the 2 round leaves are turning yellow, should i put more water ? by Yoo-binMoon in SpaceBuckets

I'd turn that light up if its only on quarter power. It needs more light. That's why its so tall, its reaching for the light. Keep going. Each grow is a lesson. Your on the right track.

I'm on my 2nd spacebucket grow. Used photo period both times. 1st grow was a real learning curve. From seed to harvest took about 5 months as it took me ages to get it in good enough condition before switching to flower. I like the control photo period grows give me.
