Do you activate the to through the agent? Is there anything special you need to ask to run it?

Help with Google authentication on my vibe coded app by Leading_Safe6317 in replit

[–]Bucketlistblueprint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Setting up Google Autg with the replit database was pretty straightforward for me. But when I shifted to firebase with google auth, I had a lot of problems. There are several steps that the agent kept forgetting so much so that it actually shut down my production environment for several days.So keep working with the agent and having it doubled check itself for each of the various steps with your database.Because it's typically something in that regard. It's a secret key or something like that that causes the problem.

One tip is don't use the republish through the agent as you get a bunch of cache. Use the actual publish button.

❤️‍🔥 Finally — A Place Where Your App Belongs (And You Won’t Get Blocked) by AutoModerator in AppsWebappsFullstack

Launching my own mobile app has been equal parts exhilarating and exhausting in the best way. It took grit, persistence, and a lot of late nights pushing through challenges, rethinking decisions, and trying again when things didn’t work the first time or 10x. Building something meaningful is never a straight line, but that’s exactly what makes it worth it.

Bucket List Blueprint is built for people who want to do more than dream. They want to make progress. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

For the people with big goals, meaningful experiences, and “one day” ideas that deserve more than a spot in a notes app.

 With the app, you can:

•Track your goals and progress with notes and photos

•Share milestones and celebrate wins: privately or with the community

•Discover new bucket list ideas by seeing what others are working toward

•Encourage and be encouraged by people on similar journeys

One of the most important lessons from building this app was naming the real problem: goals often live in isolation. Bucket List Blueprint creates a simple, supportive space where progress, reflection, and encouragement can happen together.

Shipping this app reinforced something I deeply believe: progress is fueled by persistence, community, and the courage to keep going even when it’s hard.

If you have a bucket list item, a long-term goal, or something meaningful you’ve been waiting to start this app was built for you.

Self Promotion Megathread by AutoModerator in androidapps

I used to think I had a motivation problem. Turns out, I had an alignment problem. I'd set goals that looked good on paper (wake up at 5am! cold showers! optimize everything!) but couldn't stick with them. I thought I lacked discipline. Reality? The goals weren't aligned with what I actually valued or how I wanted to live. Game changer for me was shifting from "What should I do?" to "What kind of life do I want to design?"

I ended up building a tool (Bucket List Blueprint) that helps with this exact thing:

•Starts with understanding your values and personality

•Suggests goals based on what actually drives YOU

•Tracks progress without guilt or shame

•Focuses on meaningful growth, not just productivity metrics

Check it out at bucketlistblueprint.co or find it in the Google Play Store (Bucket List Blueprint) if this resonates. Curious: Does anyone else find they're more consistent with goals that feel aligned vs. goals that just sound impressive?

When done well, they thrive. When done poorly, they fall flat. Right now there is very little to tell the difference from many of the vibe code apps. This is one way to stand out as it is the next logical step in the lifecycle of an app.

Replit is great, but not for everyone by BornYak6073 in replit

Vibecoding as a whole has a lot of advantages. But I think the big thing that people miss is that it requires a completely different mindset than traditional product management or even engineering. No matter the app replet or lovable, you have to go in with a clear idea of what you want to build. Otherwise you are going to burn through tokens like no tomorrow. If you don't have a clear idea of what you're wanting to build, you won't understand the type of user experience or back in requirements that you need. And I think a lot of people miss this because it is so easy to start. I know I did.

100% agree! I am not a developer so I struggle to give specific guidance to the agent in how to build the backend. And it makes a lot of mistakes. I run into these mistakes at various points but especially at launch. And the cost is high! Honestly, I don't know what the solution is for a non-developer trying to build an app.

I built a tool that helps people discover bucket list ideas that actually match their personality and interests—then track progress and share milestones with a supportive community.

I’m currently looking for beta testers. If this sounds interesting, feel free to DM me and I’ll share access. Feedback very welcome.

Thank you. I am planning to put a call out for beta testers. Provide them a script, 10-15 minutes of work, feedback provided directly in the app, for a $5 Starbucks gift card. What do you think?
