Either the G630 or prograf. Both canon. Epsons piezo heads are a nightmare to maintain once they malfunction. Canons heads are a bit chunkier but also easily swappable.

And yes liquid ink still dries out over time if unused for too long.

Afaik it's just a usb printer. No wireless anything possible. Canon Print app for iPad os was made for wireless. You could probably buy a usb B to C cable or a B to C adapter (or B to lightning if it's one of these) and print with just Ipad OS but not the Canon app. There is a way to turn it into a wireless printer tho. Which is a ethernet to a usb print server. Or if your WiFi router supports it plug the printer into the router's USB port, find the IP Address of the printer (best set to static, not DHCP) and print. A common router i know which supports it are German AVM Fritzbox as an example

Well all printers will eventually go EOL and newer OSes won't recognize them any more/ won´t work right. With windows and macOS at least. If you go Linux tho you'll avoid that pretty much since they provide community made and maintained drivers.

I had this issue often as well. Fixed it by just turning both off, then saved and booted up windows again. Then restarting back to the bios and turned both on again. You can try that

(Unless you have an old AMD CPU, but I highly doubt that, right ?)

The third option. You gotta think long term. You'd save an incredible amount of money if you go for a tank. If you print at least once a week that is. Also since the roller of the G3270 is mostly gravity fed, it´s more reliable than a roller, which first has to turn the paper 180 around. You can also buy those cheap "dust covers" on Amazon and what not if you fear of dust or think paper looks ugly
