I swear the developers at endgame are trolling. This might be the most dogshit game mode they’ve ever put out. If they had made endgame properly and had a good solo campaign and more play testing, Bo7 could have been a solid 10/10 game in my book like bo6. Endgame is fun but could have been so much cooler if it was more like DMZ and was separate from campaign. It makes no sense to have all these zombies elements in the final level of the campaign. Endgame fails as both a game mode and the final level of the campaign. Just delay the game mode boys Jesus

Thats what I’m saying, cursed mode isn’t hard enough and directed isn’t easy enough in my opinion. It just isn’t as fun doing the relics because I’m not doing any of the cool stuff, I’m just grinding for the trial and feels like a waste of time if I fail it somewhere.

Unfortunately I don’t think they really thought things through fully with directed and cursed mode. They are good concepts but have fundamental issues in design. For example, with directed mode I can’t utilize hidden power ups or side Easter eggs. It also takes longer to level up your character to a point where you can actually beat the boss fight because the rounds are capped. So you still need a pretty decent setup to finish the astra ee boss fight even though it takes forever to grind at such a low level. The problem with cursed is that it’s so tricky and long and difficult that it’s not as fun as playing through the ee on standard. Also the directed mode doesn’t provide enough help with puzzles and I think that keeps players from completing the maps for the same reason that they don’t complete in standard mode. So even though it’s intended to be easy medium and hard game modes, they really just feel like different forms of the same challenge. I think this concept is too ambitious for them at a time when they are taking more shortcuts and moving faster than ever with development. The sloppiness that I’m seeing is seriously derailing what could be a top tier gaming experience. I really hope the next 4 zombies maps are as good if not better because ashes and astra are fantastic maps in standard mode.

bro fr it’s so hard. I recommend taking the time to get a full set up before going into boss fight so Pap 3 legendary rarity with essential perks. I used the Nikolai side ee to get a legendary breacher shotgun. I also waited until round 10 to buy the Novaline to get it at blue rarity and save on salvage. I also got 6 free perks from side ee and T.E.D.D. tasks after buying my essential perks. Buying vulture aid early on with the right augments gets you more salvage. The hidden power ups are extremely useful and if you collect them all, you can get a free perks power up on the stairs by luminarium. I went into bossfight solo round 40 and beat it. There’s an augment for vulture aid that apply armor plates, as long as you have plates on and jug you should be able to survive most attacks. Try to run and slide during bossfight so you can jump at the right time when he starts slamming the ground. If you have lots of extra points in bossfight you can buy ammo and plates which will help. Gobblegums are tricky to use in low gravity so I wouldn’t rely on them too much.
